Get Bryant to get you a brick and wrap it in foil to use as a sandwich press. Or you can use a big skillet. Then top the sandwich with a smaller skillet to press it with. I use to have a sandwich press but it took up too much room now more than what I used it.

Leslie, OM Goodness. My husbands birthday is today. 30 Jan and I decided to give him a special dinner, so I made your recipe chicken cordon blue. Girl what a Keerper. I did do couple things differently. One, was your idea, put chicken ham in bowl toss with the sauce ,but I did one more thing. Two tablespoons of hot chicken stock from boiling the chicken in bouilion water. I mixed up the cream chees mustard, lemon juice and butter, then it needed to be a little thinner to thick so I put 1 tbsp. @t a time in to get it like Alfredo sauce thickness. Tossed it all together put into casserole dish topped with baby swim cheese and baked 40 minutes. Made side salad, and baked whole mushrooms in different pan. Wow Wow Wow, It Was DELIOUS. Hubby loved it…. It’s a keeper for sure. Thank you. I watch your programs all the time, I goy a chocolate peanut butter silk pie recipe for you. If u would like. That’s hubbys favorite dessert. Lov always. Lin

I love Chicken cordon Bleu; thanks for the easy recipe. I sprinkled my shredded chicken with poultry seasoning. Actually, I stirred my cheese sauce in with the chicken which was still warm and it melted in nicely. My family really enjoyed this meal. I was thinking that this is a perfect recipe for a church pot luck. I'll share this recipe again.. I

I make a makeshift sandwhich press by placing a 2nd cast iron pan on top with a heavy can inside or i have taken a brick and covered wrapped ina couple of layers tin foil. They work well for the few times a year I make grilled panninies. I would love to see you make a Kentucky hot brown sandwhich, The turkey sandwhich would be even better with some peppered bacon on it - YUM! The casserole is on my list to make this weekend.

I make a Low Carb Jalapeno Chicken Breast that is delicious. I butterfly open my boneless skinless chicken breasts. For every 4 chicken breasts I make a filling of 8 oz softened cream cheese, a cup of shredded cheddar and 1 or 2 finely diced jalapeno peppers. I place 1/4 of the cheese mixture on one side of each breast. Then fold it back together and wrap each piece of chicken in 1 to 2 slices of thick cut bacon. I like to use peppered bacon. You can bake it, grill it or cook it in the air fryer. I like to bake it for 25 minutes at 400 because I like to save the bacon fat. It gets spicy from the jalapeno. I love to fry eggs in it or use it to season green beans, cabbage or dried beans. If the Littles are coming to dinner or if someone does not like spicy you can stuff their chicken with the cream cheese and cheddar mixture before you add the jalapeno. Just cook their portion in a separate pan so the spicy bacon fat does not make their chicken spicy. This is my favorite low carb recipe but it also makes a delicious sandwich by placing it on one of those ciabatta rolls.

Hiya from Aotearoa I've just come across ur vlogs & I'm loving it, there are alot of cooking vlogs & sumtimes can be 'overkill' but I'm really loving this ... the foods are simple & look delicious & I've tried a few & my famz totally enjoyed them, I love cooking & being of Polynesian descent our food of culture is heavy/dense but very delicious but every now & then I enjoy making foods that will satisfy my familyz needs & be sustainable for BIG growing children, I found ur recipes do-able & looked satisfying to feed my lot (trust me they can be very fussy eaters) but I knew if I liked what I saw then they also wud enjoy eating it, also I'm a great advocate in 'using' my hubby as food guinea pig🤣🤣 & you always prepare meals that you know he will enjoy NOW that's true authentic 'honey loving' cooking & you both have 'giggle moments' that's wat got me the way you cook is how you live ur life ... with lots of love, laughs & just being urself & girlfriend I'm down with that ... thank you 4 sharing💯🙏

I have the Kenders Buttery Steakhouse seaoning... I really like it and use it on multiple things! Love chicken cordon bleu! I make a Chicken Cordon Bleu burger that I really like as well as Chicken Cordon Bleu in a white wine sauce made in the skillet (all the alcohol cooks out when reducing the sauce by half)....can't wait to give your casserole a try

Our meat isle at Wal Mart looked like that. Leslie go to Dollar Tree and get you some box milk. Its shelf stable. Then when you need some open use and refrigerate. I buy 10 when I run out. Its always in my pantry. And its a dollar a box.Its a win win.

I, too, always stock shelf stable milk. I am not a milk drinker but frequently need some to cook with. I have low-fat, 2 percent and whole milk on hand. I have gotten lots of my friends hooked on it, too. It stays good once opened for a long time.

I usually say "change the sheets" but I've heard the others strip the bed...ONE thing I noticed "you guys" say is cut the light, stove on instead of turning them on or off...Love you guys, your little are solo cute! I made the casserole this morning to take to church for a Funeral Luncheon. I took your advice and mixed the ingredients for the sauce together and then added the Rotisserie Chicken and ham my suggestion would be to add an additional 4 oz of cream cheese or even another whole 8 oz. block so it would more completely cover the chicken and ham. I also have a recipe for a Rueben Casserole I would like to share with you.

I try to similar recipe Leslie and did end up mixing everything together and since to get the kids to eat their vegetables I try to mix them in with the vegetables in the sauce a lot of times I added a bag of chopped broccoli to that and just mixed it all in and it was wonderful the broccoli gave off just a slight bit of moisture I parked a little bit in the microwave so it would get as done as we like but you can even put another layer in there.. oh and that sandwich looked really good it makes another cast iron skillet but I've got a couple of small skillets that size and when I want to press down or something on the sandwich and get it nice and brown and crispy I put the second Little cast iron on the top bottom down an occasionally a big can of beans or something on top of it for some steady pressure it's real simple that second pan doesn't hardly get dirty it's just a simple washing cleanup.

The recipe looks great. We are currently having our dusting of snow here in eastern NC, we went to four different places trying to buy our normal weekly groceries. That was no bread, milk, hamburger or hot dog buns to be found. You would think we are having a blizzard. Yes, I strip my beds too.
