I made this yesterday. Followed the recipe to the letter including weighing the spoon measurements of the spices out. Delicious. I"ve also tried your stuff crust pizza recipe - made two large pizzas that went down well with family friends. Excellent recipes and so easy to follow the instructions, even for a complete beginner. Will definitely be doing these again. Thanks John.

I made this for dinner tonight - and the result was excellent: the family loved it. Thanks for doing these recipes. This is the first time i’ve used shortening but the quantities were spot on and the pastry easy to handle even for ham-fisted me. This has given me the confidence to try other pie recipes. I have followed this recipe exactly as given and have now just made my fourth pie. I have to say that this is one of the best recipes ever! I plan to modify it slightly in order to just make a curry which I am certain will also be excellent.

thanks for this recipe, i just made one following your instructions. your videos are great, thorough and easy to understand. turned out great and my dad enjoyed it too. i did cheat and used ready rolled pastry though as i was in a rush, i will try making my own pastry in the future.
