Jewish chicken in this sauce is so tasty, fragrant and juicy that even the most avid gourmet will appreciate this dish.
Chicken drumsticks, thanks to soda, acquire a bewitching, delicious caramel color! And the secret is simple: sprinkle a large amount of onion with baking soda - and due to this, the onion turns into onion sauce - marmalade, and in it we stew the chicken drumstick.
Each housewife wanted to cook delicious chicken somehow in a special way and as quickly as possible, because there were no broilers then, and homemade chicken was cooked for quite a long time, and then they guessed to add soda not only to chicken meat, but also to other meat dishes, liver, as well as in minced meat for cutlets.
