Soya protein in any form is the worst thing you can consume as a nutritional source specially if u ar looking at it as meat substitute. It's worst than meat. It doesn't digest easily as it's difficult for the body absorb as it is very long chain protein that contains several anti-nutritional factors such as trypsin & chymotrypsin inhibitors, which reduce protein digestion and bioavailability that reduce nutrient absorption in the intestine. It also deactivates soy's natural phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors, which can affect mineral and protein absorption. Plus as long as it stays in the gut it reduces nutrient absorption from other food sources as well. It also has high concentration of isoflavones which binds to estrogen receptors in the body raising estrogen content in body potentially causing thyroid dysfunction, infertility & even breast cancer if not consumed the right way. AND THE RIGHT WAY IS THE ONE THAT'S PRACTICED BY JAPANESE, KOREAN CULTURES ETC.. CONSUMING IT IN THE FORM OF TOFU WHICH IS ESSENTIALLY FERMENTED SOY PROTEIN CAKES. I like tikkas only if juicy and succulent. The above tikkas look so soft and must be melting iñ the mouth. Yum.....my favourite starter along with fries!
