Momo are originated in Tibet and they travelled to India via Nepal through Sikkim. They are extremely popular in Nepal and followed by the Seven Sisters; ie, The Northeastern States. It might be very popular towards Leh Laddakh too.

not really tibet had beef/yak dumplings just boiled meat, the Momo are from Nepal just the shape is shape as tibet dumpling they you wrap it but everything the seasoning how they are made and how they are cook all are orignally from Nepal

Momos are Nepalese Food inspired from Tibetian dumplings which were similar in shape/wrapping but totally different in taste and content inside the dumplings and many Nepalese who served in army or many of them who work in India brought into India and it has become famous in some of the indian states and north east india

Every NEPALI restaurant will have momo. You should do a video on Nepali food. I'm Nepali and live in the US. Gosh I miss Kathmandu's momo. I've tried momo everywhere but the ones in Kathmandu, with the momo ko achar, are the best!

Momos are a tibetan dish that we have adopted in our daily lives. It is generally said to be a Nepali dish but we do have a large tibetan population in India too.

Today momo is most eaten in north india not in south indian , delhi you will find more than 500 momo stalls and shops , and nearly every north indian city has momos it came from nepal and tibet but today it is a must go market thing , you can have them till bengal , but mumbai and south and gujarat side there are very less momos and very bad momos , but delhi is doing great with momos , it is now blended in culture
