@@kralicm-den-kralimThere is no specific treatment, it will get better in 7 days. Just apply calamine lotion to reduce itching, and for fever, take Panadol
My daughter has chickenpox. I have never had it and this chatbox is so helpful. Thank you all for sharing your experiences… Now I am prepared for a different ride.
@@m.xhdd.xusually the older you caught it the more severe it is, mine lasted 2 weeks+ and first week was hell + the Zovirax that doctor prescribed which causes my stomach discomfort and appetite to plummet so it's an extra torture on top of the chickenpox hell.
Today is my first day that the spots appeared 😢 I am 32 and it’s been weeks I was feeling soo weak and sick I did not know what was going on until today 🥺
i wish i could watch this 3 days ago so i can take this drug i'm infected with chickenpox , i have blisters in my all body even in my oral i felt difficult in swallowing and high grade fever i couldn't go to university to do my exams but now i feel beter then 2 days before
Let me make everyone feel lucky !... I had severe chicken pox when I was 6 years old....then I got chicken pox again when I was 9 years......I then got shingles (caused by same virus ) when I was 21 years and now I am 32 years and I got chicken pox again !...Doctor said it is not possible I must have a very weak and suppressed immunity !!! ....Dont know if that true as I didnt have any symptom when I caught covid...
I've had chicken pox twice when I was a child i think I got it again im 31 so doctors are full of crap can't get it again when your older you can obviously its in there face it's possible im going to see a pharmacist to find out If it is today cause I cant get in to see a doctor im sure its chicken pox im so itchy it's unreal and other symtops too
I'm 19 and I got it 4 days ago but I didn't get my prescription until yesterday(3rd day) currently it's growing so much on my scalp and face which is a nightmare.
I got my chickenpox on my 25 years , but on the first day, i just got headache but able to move without difficulty. I thought it's just a common headache as i didn't sleep and prepared material for presentation. I even make a good presentation that day, as i didn't know I actually got chickenpox. Later on that night, i realize i got chicken pox as suddenly my body full of red dot rash and i feel so itchy. And i realize my head also full of small pimple. One week before that, my 5 year old little got chickenpox, and had similar symptom. Hence i realize that i got chickenpox from her. Fortunely, on my 4th day, the itchy finally gone and all of the pimple / rash become smaller and i no longer feel the pain when i touch it.
@@Cedrick0902 i only have one scar on my left thigh, and it so small like a pimple size. It's left scar bcuz during the itchy period, i keep scratching there until it wounded. But fortunately my other chicken pox rash didn't left any scar. But my skin really heal faster since child, i didn't even have a scar even my skin burn from boiling water when i'm 11 years old , the new skin also immediately appear within a week. Even after my palm having enzema, it didn't leave any scar at all.
I'm 20years old and it's my day 3 suffering from chicken pox and i have an exam on Monday i can't even face the mirror I don't know how i can interact with everyone, I'm worried also I'm not feeling well i don't know how I'll pass this exam
I'm 20 too got it it's my day 2 I can't even look at other people I live in a dorm my parents picked me up I'm on my way to my home. Hope you are all healed now.
@@jangid8002 I was prescribed with Zovirax for 5 days which I have to take every 3 hours on time, speaking of side effect ... yes, very bad as well. Causes me stomachache and discomfort on top of whatever torment that Chickenpox gave me and I can assure you that the stomach discomfort will keep you awake without sleep even if you can sleep through with Chickenpox itch.
I got it today and it is soooo itchy but the symptoms I had before the red spots appeared were way worse (headaches, fevers, tiredness)but after they appeared it is only itching. Edit:it took about two weeks for the pain to go away and the spots on my body still didn’t go and the ones on my face are barely noticeable
I’m 28 AND I’ve got them all over me atm! I can’t even bare to walk the weakness in my legs. Did anyone have a cough too? Because I got a cough and my chest is hurting… scared for phuenominia
Same boat, I'm 27! Husband and I both had upper respiratory infections 2 weeks ago and we also moved houses during that time. Now I woke up with red spots that look like mosquito bites all over my arms and legs. I thought the weakness in my body was just from the move, and I thought the cough and runny nose were just leftover from the URI. I took benedryl thinking they might be hives but it didnt help at all. But now I'm thinking it may be chickenpox? No idea what to do. Supposed to have Easter dinner with my family. It's looking like I may be spending Easter at the walk-in clinic. I had the vaccine when I was a kid, but ironically I have needle phobia, so I'm praying they don't need a blood sample because in all of my 27 years I've never been able to get a blood draw, even with tranquilizers/sedatives.
Its my 4th day of this. It was hell. I dont want to keep lying down but my body just want to. I feel so dizzy even laying down and my eyes keep shutting down. I just threw up earlier. The chicken pox had gotten to my tongue and gums which transformed into canker sores and i can barely chew and swallow (idk why my throat even hurts😢) my lungs also feels heavy. Im so scared.I think chicken pox on adults are more dangerous (im22). Also mine arent itchy, instead they hurt
Can't thank you enough doc because everything you told me happened as you said I did exactly everything you said I should do while talking your herbal med I must say Because am full of excitement am free from Genital Herpes thank you #DoctorOrias.....
I got chicken pox yesterday, but I had stiff neck and cough from 4 days. I started anti viral last night when o saw a doctor online. I have not gone to the hospital yet.Can it be serious?
I have just got over covid for the 1st time and chicken pox as a 35 year old was hands down worse and went on much longer. If you're really suffering now, then my one god send was camomile baths. I used to have them sometimes at 2am if the painful itching got too much, which it frequently did. Also be aware that the spots don't just grow on the outside they are growing on your internal organs, which makes it difficult to breathe and forget moving about.
what about chronic smokers and COPD patients? are they high risk group of chickenpox complication with pneumonia ?? what about administering Antibiotics??
@senpai1628 about two weeks in total. Had to take penicillin for the sore throat, so that went in like five days. Glad it's over, hopefully I'm not one of the unlucky ones who gets it again for some reason
I can relate, it's like over 10 ulcers in mouth and several on throat. Can't even eat before gargling with mouthwash and each gargle will cause intense pain. The ordeal lasted a month because of how large each invidual ulcers is and how it reocurred over the 3 weeks save the last week.
What did the doctor recommend you for the itching? All they did was prescribe loratadine and calamine lotion to me and now I'm itching so much I wanna die
Hi, 20 years i have chicken pox and im getting anxiety cause chicken pox in adult is very dangerous especially to me with weak immune system :< am i going to die?
@Icetrip I heard someone say there might be a non itchy strain don't know how true it is.....another reason for me not feeling itchy might be because I started taking antihistamines as I thought I was allergic to something initially
It will totally go away after another week, mine lasted 3+ weeks in total [18 days for rash/blister to stop appearing and another 6 days for the itch to cease.
@@muneebjatt2004 Nah he is right, I had it when I was 35. you can't walk because you run out of breath, I had to walk up some stairs to see my doctor and nearly passed out. The basic symptoms you describe are the ones you get when you have it when you're super young
@@smilingbuddha536 you are 35 bro means weak imune system and also other disease that comes with age.He is 18 and I am 19.Person in 18 cant walk just Because of chicken pox😂He may have other problem
I got chicken pox at 17 tge itch drove me crazy so i caught a genius idea and took a hot bath. 1 day later seems over night i woke up with more spots than a leopard. And itchier than ever so id advise just doing bird baths in they key stinky spots only. 😮💨
Role of doctor is to prevent disease rather than curability. After watching i was more scared as if its not chicken pox but cancer. Dont explain in such maanner
