I am not living in Nigeria but in the Netherlands This is awesome music i love it with heart and soul.Real music real legends.Thank you for.your great music,i believe that Nigeriaan people still love it me too.🙏🏿🙏🏿🥇respect .
The bass guitar and the konga are killing me, one of the best Nigeria musicians, I love his kind of music, his music belongs to all Nigerians not only the igbos, you’re national asset, continue to rest in peace
The bass line goes straight for the heartstrings...and rips it apart with nostalgia for anyone who grew up hearing this song. The song also leaves serious food-for-thought when you consider that every single one of the scores of people he eulogises in this song, all of them notable persons at the time, are all dead today, along with the singer, and probably all his dancers as well as the bulk of that crowd of party goers. Truly, as Oliver insists in another of his songs, 'Uwa Bu Aja', which, transliterated directly from his native Igbo means, 'The World Is Sand'. Reminds me of what the Bible says in 1 Peter 3:11 - "Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives!" [2023, August 10]
i couldnt pretend not to be in love with my root. Thumps up Oliver, your simply the best. My beloveth late father played this song all through when he was alive. His soul continue to rest in peace. Show some love 2022
Wow the master guitarist himself ....honestly I dont think Nigeria has ever had a better guitarist than this Legend..... I respect Sir victor Uwaifo but I think Oliver was simply a masterclass on the guitar.... R.I.P Father Father.
@@linusnkemjika8525 oh ok, my bad, I thought Kabaka was even the bass guitarist and Satch the lead guitarist. Yea I just remembered Kabaka was indeed the lead guitarist because it was after when he left they got another lead guitarist (Tony Awoma) who played the lead guitar in Ibezim Ako. Thanks🙏
Oliver de coque and his iconic evergreen numbers Rest well Sir. We respect your legendary contribution to the rich music industry in Nigeria and beyond
I was 10 when he released this song, my late dad playing it non stop, and now I'm 58, ( I still cannot stop playing it over and over again)... Oliver De Coque will remain a legend
Can anyone explain more about this group I really want to know more about people’s club cos it’s was so big then with great potential people in the society ❤
This is the real odogu nwaoke death is not good this man die young. It is not old this just 16years ago. If you look him here you see life in him looks like he will not die anytime soon but in real life is not so anything can bring you down any minute and within a few weeks you turn to sand in grave . Everything about you will be a history no matter how much money you have will be inherited by others around you. I really feel bad looking at this real legendary of Igbo land may you continue to rest in peace I wish you were still alive now this the you have seeing the would have been the time you would have seeing that money if you stand in stage reach guys will go crazy spread millions on you.
