Gambino ain’t nerdy. Gambino just got common sense something that Chief Keef can’t even fathom in the slightest with dat empty hollow ass shell he calls a “brain”
I actually think that was a reference to Chief Keef's lifestyle. Just like when Gambino said, "You know what I'm really into right now? Wallets." If you know anyone with even a remotely simliar lifestyle to Chief Keef, you'll know that they most likely don't carry a wallet. To me it seemed like Gambino was already pretty sure Keef doesn't carry a wallet, so he ALREADY knew he could get Keef to engage in conversation by saying that.
@Off_Kee NSAIDS are a type of medication, the tattoo would serve the purpose of alerting the medical staff about his allergy if he were say unconscious.
They was trolling each other but gambino started it and cheif finished it but he did get pissed but kept cool abd they both had a laugh about the fart line lmao dope ass interview
this interview isn’t as awkward as people made it seem. everyone expects celebrities to be these animated loud super charismatic characters, and that can be a heavy burden to bear
Yeah this was during the era were everyone on the internet was hating and talking bad about chief and everytime he would do a interview and not really talk they would always say something bad about. And since one person would say then every one else would just copy that one person and say the exact thing. But fast forward to 2021 everyone giving respect to chief and calling him a legend now when everyone was always talking bad about him
@@staxx2353 He was 16 went from the fuckin gutter to all the spotlight and cameras on him overnight and they expected him to be super talkative and energetic smh
Question: How can one be a rapper, and be inarticulate? This is why so many hip-hop entertainers (I don't consider them Mc's) don't have lyrics. If you can't hold a decent conversation, you can't put I interesting bars together.
Gus read the articles (copmplex has one) where it's a spoken interview rather than on video. All the journalists say he has a big personality and lights up a room sort of of thing. Kid probably just weird in front of a camera, pretty understandable considering he was like 17 at the time (19 now).. He may have aspergers or whatever but who knows really.
U gotta understand the impact of this video, this is legendary both of the guys propelled into stars of music into fashion movies etc man this gotta be black excellence
Alright this is why chief keef acts like that: Dude is anxious, he doesn't like showing out, talking cause then he knows that will bring him more anxiety. In a way the way he acts its insecurity. A defense to show that he not this anxious guy. I can tell he isn't stupid, he's actually the opposite he know gambino is talking just to talk.Social norms and speaking normally isn't what keef does. He just knows, just cause we talk dont mean were friends.
he was clowning on him sublimally hahah then cheef keef gettin pissed saying fuck nigga and sneakers looks at gambinos shoes hahahah akward af why they even do that not a good mix.
That discussion they had over the "I don't like" hook was priceless!! It seemed like Keef was getting a little pissed towards the end of it, but I respect them for their composure throughout the entire session.
Not cringeworthy, but just funny as hell seeing these two paired together. It reminds me of those moments when the average kid in school tries to sit with the snobs or the cool kids and there just like "Man, i dont wanna talk!"
Not a single thing awkward about this interaction. This is what it looks like when two different type of people actually get along. Donald been on camera n is an eccentric entertainer. Sosa was new to the bein on camera so often n was a laid back bts typa entertainer
ok adam let’s see you being filmed in front of the camera so we can be in awe of your truly incredible interview skills and your amazing capability to hold a conversation .
and hi im chief keef im mildly retarded, let me do this back and forth with childish gambino, where were supposed to communicate back and forth and ask questions to eachother, but ill just mumble and be silent because im a 17 year old gangster with autism.
Chris Gabrielsen He not that retarded if he a well know rapped that is making millions.I am not even a fan of him and know this. You have to have some kind of businesses wisdom to make it as a rapper or singer.
Asarel Smith mmm not really. Some people get famous and rich out of random luck. And as you can see from his bad sales from his debutalbum and him getting dumped by the record company and him wasting time in jail shows nothing of intelligence nor wisdom
I love how Gambino's dialect changes a bit while speaking to him. Thats so funny. When he's speaking normally he pronounces his words fully. Now his accent sounds a little more laid back. I bet he didnt even notice haha
+PrincessSarah090288 Yeah, and Gambino is also an actor, writer, producer, and record producer. He's got his own TV show comin out on Fox too. Don't really hear about Keef makin' moves though.
+allison reynolds Donald glover makes way more money, most of what Keef has is advances and he spends his money on stupid shit that will either depreciate or be thrown away or taken/destroyed by his friends. Keef is probably worth a few million at best especially because he does not tour very often. And most of the money these days comes from touring. When he is walking around with all of that money I would not be surprised if that was all if not most of his money. Donald glover also has saved a big portion of his money and has lived reasonably frugal compared to most rappers. He also collects income from a variety of fields not just selling albums. He has turned himself into a great in a variety of fields. If you look up there net worths/incomes Chief Keef makes about $100,000 a year and he is worth about $1,000,000. While Donald glover makes about $600,000 a year and is worth between 4-5million. A lot of information for a meaningless comment but just so you know most rappers are broke and spend every penny they have creating an image of insane wealth that they do not have. There are a few small exceptions but for the most part its true. And the more seasoned rappers learn this and then change there image. A great example is T-pain and many others bought Bugattis and once something broke on the car he would have to pay $250,000 for the repair. He immediately sold it and realized that he could buy a collection of cars just for the repair cost let alone the other bits of maintenance. This is one example of when rappers think they are much richer then they are. Just because you can pay the sticker does not mean you can afford the maintenance on the cars, boats, planes, houses, and anything else they show off (including woman lol).
I love these videos! Best idea and a great contrast from the typical boring interviews. Also more efficient because you get to learn more about them as a person, not just an artist.
It's not about intelligence levels it's about willingness to talk and relatabilitt. Cheif Keef didn't really want to talk and Gambino noticed that but still made an effort to relate to him and get him to talk about things that he likes
it's very clear from this interview that these two artists on complete different ends of the hip hop spectrum. I know which one I'd listen to if I wanted to get hyped, and I know which one if listen to if I wanted to chill and philosiphise to ygm
