It has only been a few years since I first became aware of the 1493 Doctrine of Discovery. I was, and still am, shocked. Not just for how Indigenous people's of all lands have been exploited and abused, but how the idea of this Doctrine of Discovery has been used within the classroom and society to convince one group of people that they are superior to another. I wish there was an easy way to undo all the damage done over the last 500 plus years and start all over again today begining right now.
I have heard Indians called a number of ways, First Nations, Native Americans, but Indigenous Nations of the Western Hemisphere make much more sense and would include both the Northern and Southern Western Hemisphere. This man speaks truth!
Oren Lyons has one Seneca Parent and one Onondaga Parent. He is adopted into the Onondaga and has left his Seneca identity, although I am sure the Senecas cherish him as well. He has dedicated his life to teaching. Now retired, he travels the world to continue to teach environmental and sovereignty issues.

It will happen, sister. I can guarantee it. Jesus said in Revelation that He is coming to destroy those who destroy the earth. They really think God doesn’t care about His creation. They are willfully ignorant. And they will be judged for their crimes. Their selfish greed and avarice, their oppression and murder will be their undoing. They have no ides what they are in for. Again in Revelation God says He will save His people. They won’t be judged with the wicked. But just as Jesus said , like in the days of Noah, after the righteous are taken up, the judgements will begin. He will turn the rivers to blood, The sun will get so hot it will scorch men and dry up water. There will be earthquakes and tidal waves. And that’s only the beginning. It’s going to be hell on earth for them and all the cities will fall. This is their reward for all the blood shed on the earth. This is what Jesus said would happen- there will be judgement without mercy on those who have shown no mercy. Not my words. But they are the truth. Then He will restore the earth and heal the waters and the people of God will have 1000 years of peace before the final judgement of the wicked. Just trust Him, He will bring it to pass. And the time is close. And yes, indeed this is Turtle island, something else they don’t know. And God never wanted it destroyed. But they wouldnt listen. When Sitting Bull had his vision before the battle of the Little Big Horn , he said God showed him soldiers falling into the camp. He told Sitting Bull that He gave these to them because they have no ears. So, they have not listened to God. He was telling them in many ways to stop what they were doing. He is still speaking and they are still not listening.
I would like feedback from the Haudenosauneee community, as I internally struggle with these forced structures myself , This touches upon the roots of The deep systemic perception differences between "European body politics" and "Indigenous political bodys and there peoples ways of "Seeing". I was told years ago that Haudenosaunee nation's "laws" "Are "seen" as "internally" recognized "Responsibility's" by members of the nation. "but" the systemic European body politic's structural system operates from a "Laws" are "seen" as being "externally" granted "Rights" when the two political "Bodys" come together this is sometimes called when the canoe and the ship interact ,, a forced "polarized" Bridging "translation" occurs , we are still in many ways clinging to aspects of our structures of our past monarchy's , and I also beleave the institutionalized body's of religion have there control code woven into the foundations of the Deep state, Steve Newcomb has certainly reflected upon the roots these many arcane layers , It"s "us" Europeans that need to do an internal review of roots under our "foundation stones" our own "source code" when we look at the internal conflict issues we see happening internally in 2021 we have only ourselves to blame for our failure to evolve our rigid roots we snap like a piece of brittle glass .. Well, the dominant doctrine (Science after Christianity) is still explaining the First Peoples from where they originated and how they crossed the Bering Straight and on and on. I am from Switzerland I do anthropology studies, my husband is Oji-Cree (Saulteaux) and it is real fight to make them admit that Peoples know about their Histories.
