Skip Bayless is a complete hater of Mahomes period. See how he can only talk about C Mouth of TB and No other QB in the NFL… Skip needs to shut his mouth and never respond about Patrick Mahomes. Skip shut your pie 🥧 hole 🕳…
Someone needs to tell skip, if a player keeps making plays like that every, single game or every single week, that by definition, IS NO LONGER LUCK! He just has the requisite skills/ talent and arm strength, plus the confidence to make those plays!
He’s a sports analysts and talking about the Broncos rn is pointless. The Chiefs are the best team in the AFC and Skip hates them so Shannon is gonna ride with them for the sake of debating.
Football is back thank GOD. With fans makes all the difference too. I went to like 4 colts games last year and man I’ll tell u what it was lame af having like 2k ppl there
Very true but it was a learning experience that showed the Brown's that they can for real play with the best and they have the potential to beat the best as long as they learn how to close out the game and understand that u can not I repeat can not make any mistakes against high quality team like KC and expect to win
I'm putting in personally to have a vote every year, to decide the "Best Dressed" sports analyst. And I'm doing my vote now for Shannon, cause man Unk is gonna get a charge one of these days. He be killing it on the wardrobe 😂😂
OG rockets fans know that Calvin Murphy’s fits he used to wear put Shannon and everyone else to shame. Look him up if you don’t know who I’m talking about
According to Skip, Mahomes has thrown plenty of 50/50 balls. Yet and still his receivers are the only ones to ever catch them….says a lot about those said “50/50” throws
They ARE contenders. That being said, they won't make it past the Chiefs when it matters, at least not this year or next year. Maybe eventually once or twice
As a chiefs fan I always know the next day segments about the game will always be “moral victory Monday” for the team that barely loses to KC 😂 never fails
It's funny how Mahomes keeps throwing "lucky" passes but they all work just fine lmao when will skip learn that for Mahomes, this isn't lucky, any other QB it would be luck but not for this guy.
Smh. Cut it out. A game is 4 quarters. I knew the game wasn’t over cuz we watched mahommes do this so many times. It’s not like mahommes just blows everyone out.
@@HollyG95 understandable but the browns were in control the way until the last five minutes of the game after the browns went three and out their last few offensive snaps
Considering the Browns were out OBJ, Jedrick Wills, Ronnie Harrison, and Grant Delpit, and the Chiefs were missing both Honey Badger and Frank Clark I think we'd see an even more explosive and tighter game if they played again at full strength.
@@kazokadas yet Mahomes has made that same play ROUTINELY! You telling me corners routinely get lost like that? No, son, that is just pure skill and chemistry between 15 and 10
Don’t worry. He did the same to Brady early in his TV career. Then flip flopped when Brady won his 4th ring or so… if Mahomes continues at this pace and continues to make SBs, he will change his tune. He always does it.
Naw, he's just pissy from carrying Brady's jock strap for so many years. Skip is the Cosell of recent football, like Howard was with Ali. At least Howard knew when to shut up. Skippy hasn't learned that yet.....
Once LeBron leaves. Patrick Mahomes will keep Skip employed. He will hate on this man every week for the next 10 years plus... lol Patrick Mahomes has 4 TDS, 0 INT and a GREAT QBR (Skips fav stat) and he didnt compliment the man once...
Stephen never got over the fact that T.O said Max was blacker than he was. From day on Max’ days were numbered. Besides Max’ take on the cliff and his take on who should take the last shot on that warriors dynasty team, most of his takes were pretty good. Glad max has his own show without Stephen A’s screaming and shouting
@@Nuggetfinatic2166 not sure if it really means anything but I actually haven’t had any interest to watch first take once max left. I wonder if the shows numbers will increase, decrease or stay the same. I get they put the most money in to Stephen A but I they might be over doing it.
Nah for now it's still Mahomes daddy, Tom Brady. Maybe in five years though when the goat retires. He just cant beat that man in the playoffs and that man is 44 damn years old.
I swear I watched that first drive and was sure that the Browns were winning that game, as much as I've made fun of them over the decades. Left the game while they were ahead and looked up the score soon as I got back home. Well, that felt like a personal rebuke by Mahomes himself, standing there looking at me with disapproval for ever doubting him. Mahomes is still Mahomes, y'all. Chiefs are lucky to have him.
The game is never over till it's over especially with mahomes Man he just goes into another level. Like he's on Madden football. When it gets crunch time seems like that's when mahomes turns into his best self.
@@HollyG95 Well, respectfully, it's not like the man's unbeatable, is it? Who're the reigning Champions as we speak? Still, you're right. I must have been more rusty than I thought from having been away from football for so long, went with the heart and what it saw rather than with the brain and what it should know.
@@rmm3803 he’s def not unbeatable but when have the browns beat him for you to think the lead was safe? But yea u know the brain will tell u and I’m not a chiefs fan but I don’t bet against mahommes
Skip will still say its pure luck even after the CHIEFS go to their 4th straight Conference Championship appearance in a row, and 3rd Super Bowl appearance in a row.
"Its like they dont wanna hit him" Am i the only one who saw how many times mahomes got hit after throwing the ball? That man was on the ground after almost every throw
Yea but The scary thing is The cheifs in my opinion weren't even at their best, They made some sloppy plays throughout the game and there was some miscommunication for a lot of the 3 quarters, but they can win games like this purely based on talent.
A tale of 2 halfs. Cleveland clearly won the 1st. The Chief's clearly won the 2nd and scored points when it counted. The similarities to the Super Bowl against San Fran remind anyone. KC ran up 21 unanswered on a great San Fran defense in the 4th qrt to win. Yesterday's game proved again the normal. KC has no fear of being behind. Patrick has no fear of being behind. They thrive on it I think. They produce TD'S against very good teams when it really matters consistently. Their record proves it. As of today this dude and this team are 45 and 9 including playoffs. Unreal talent playing for the perfect coach for his style. Then add probably one of the best ran teams. Then add a stadium home field advantage that is incredibly consistent. It's unfair really. Then again who said Football needs to be fair? lol..
They looked pretty scared in the superbowl when the they got down huge against the Bucs and Mahomes andhis "fearless" Chiefs procceeded to score an outstanding 9 points on 3 gield goals. He's a great player, that team has unbelieveable talent, but until Brady retires in about 5 years he will continue to own Mahomes and these chiefs.
Kc would have been beat, if it weren't for Chubbs fumble and Scottish kicker panic mode... Even Romo said when Browns were running it, if no stop here, curtains for KC
Would' a Should' a Could' a. Both teams made mistakes. KC adjusted and Cleveland's "mistakes" happened because of pressure and a perfect hit by Juan Thornhill. That's a player or player's stepping up when needed. By the way I'm a fan of Cleveland I f'n hate Pittsburgh. I absolutely loved seeing Cleveland beat the breaks of Pittsburgh last year. I'm loyal to my Chief's. Always will be. If there's 1 thing I understand as a lifelong Chief's fan. It's this. It takes patience and excellent drafting with some lucky free agent hit to be successful. KC, Cleveland and Buffalo are doing it right. They will dominate the AFC over the next 10 to 15 years. I just hope my Chief's do most of that. Good luck with the Texans today I hope you guys win by 30.
As a Browns fan, I agree. That dropped punt was a killer. U can't do that in that stadium against that damn Mahomes. Momentum was already shifting. That was painful but it showed me that we can indeed beat the best teams in the league, respectfully.
@@thejenesisb5444 the killer wasnt that botched punt, KC was getting the ball back anyway. The killer was the browns had the opportunity for a walk off win, 2 minutes and 1 timeout and everyone knew that Baker would fail.
@@Daybona I agree if he threw it prematurely or was affected seems like the ball woulda went real high or too low like at the ground. I think he was tryna make the play and the tackle interfered with his pass
Skip Your Right. He Wasn't Trying To Step On Anyone. Got Pushed Again And Then By The Coach. And He Pushed Back. Come On Man!!! 🙏BLESS☝UP🐕DOG'S🏌FOR💀LIFE!!!
Y’all be all over Shannon in these comments when he ain’t slobbering all over Brady like Skip is. But when Skip constantly disrespects Mahomes, it’s crickets....
Baker overall played well, minus the pick. Cleveland's problem was their defense.and making bonehead mistakes like Baker int, Chubb fumble, Schwartz dropping a third down pass and more.
@@HealwaysRemembers. You can't win too many games when the Defense is playing like that. The first half, you gave up 10 points, what happened the second half?
There was one big difference in this game. Turnovers. You win the turnover battle, you generally win the big games. My Chiefs weren't stopping the Browns enough. This was a bit slower of a shootout, but this is a shootout style game. A fumble, a pick, and on downs with the punter. Cleveland absolutely could have won the game, but a 3 turnovers (only two on the stat sheet) lost them that game.
Patrick can make plays when he has to, he has the arm talent and the athletic ability to pull it off. Patrick even said that he saw Tyreek’s hand 🤚 down the field, so he threw the football as close as he could get to him, Tyreek made the adjustment and caught the ball 🏈 for a 75 yard TD. Someone should tell skip that he was stepping on another player, the coach was stepping up for his player. You could tell that he hit Greg Lewis, it was more than a push.
As a life long Browns fan, we have to learn to play for the entire 60 minutes. Can't make mistakes like we did against a great team on the road. We will bounce back next week and learn from this!!! This will leave a bad taste in the BROWNS players mouth.
All I can say is the Chiefs better get better. They cannot even begin to think they’re gonna get by like that for 17 weeks. Especially that raggedy defense.
Soooo mahomes beats skips superbowl pick that all he's done is hype up how good the defense is and hes not the mvp but brady throws 2 picks against the cowboys who were ranked one of the worst defenses in football and hes the mvp? Talk about delusional
Bruh if u watched the game you’d know neither of the picks were on Brady. On was literally a Hail Mary to end the half they just chucked it to see if they could get a lucky touchdown. The other was fournette not being able to catch. So even if you wanna Brady hate, that’s 1 pick. 4 tds and 1 pick in a game, how u hating?
FINALLY! Skip is the first and ONLY major sports media broadcaster to call out that Mahomes' 75 yard TD pass to Hill was complete luck. If JJ turns around at any point during that exchange the ball is either knocked down or intercepted -- there would be no completion in that scenario if the defender had his head turned around. Mahomes was way off balance, the pass was obviously underthrown, and the route was completely busted at that point. You can't objectively look at that play and say there wasn't luck involved. The media is only praising that throw because they are obsessed with Mahomes; if any other QB tries that throw (completed or otherwise) they'd be blasted by the media for being careless with the ball, especially if that QB was Baker.
Right.. can’t fault that man for that or the events that lead up to that moment when he did everything he could to have them up in the first place. That aura surrounding Mahomes and this chiefs team seems devine. They have this unbeatable mystic about them which makes the Super Bowl seem even more unbelievable.
@@PHRESHIDENT but thats the thing, you can blame baker. Hes the leader of that team and has a history of making mistakes in game winning situations, hes not that guy. Its great to ball out in qtrs 1-3 but it doesnt matter if you cant finish under pressure.
@@stevenh3508 lol, dude this is a team sport. The team as a whole has to play better. Fumbling the ball, missed block leads to punt block. Not on Baker, that's a team thing. He was looking to throw the ball away and got tripped. Bad break, doesn't mean he isn't that guy. Such a exaggerated term. And that 50/50 ball by Mahomes should've been picked off, but Johnson didn't adjust himself like Hill did. That could've changed momentum. Again, the team, not Baker.
@@limitlessmaestro2110 and yet, baker still had the opportunity to win the game at the end and in typical baker fashion failed. The ball was in his hands, and while you say he was trying to throw it away, hjs history of forcing throws when the game is on the line says otherwise. If he was throwing it away it shouldnt have been close to anyone, even if someone smacked his foot and made him trip. Regardless, the ball was in his hands with a chance to win and as usual, he couldnt pull it off. Thats why its on him.
@@stevenh3508 wrong again. If he takes the sack they have to use a timeout and then people grill him on that. He made a great read to look and break the pocket and throw it away to save the timeout. Again the assumption based on past results is the reason you’re saying it’s his fault and why the game ended but that’s false. Just so happens he got tripped and the ball is under thrown, not the first or last time it’s happened in the NFL
This did not help the browns!! You can say we lost once, we win next time! Then lose again! Now you have a losing streak to think about? So next time, well now you expect to lose again
Also skip, no one tackles Mahomes because he breaks people's ankles like the first guy and then he fakes passes and looks around and that confuses the defense and causes them to think more. It's not because they respect him so much that they don't want to hit him, that's just stupid.
Will say this. Mahomes and Hill are unstoppable. As long as they keep Hill they will be a top side in the NFL. Once Hill goes it might harder for them to do these comebacks. Hill doesn't get the credit he deserves for getting open for mahomes on those extended plays.
Skip is the least objective “journalist” around. I love Shannon and will continue to watch for Shannon, but Skip! All of your talking points are empty rhetoric. You’re the Fox News of sports analysts.
@@tildenkatz5581 As someone with a degree in mass media let me say journalists do have to be objective. Commentators and analysts (and that is what Bayless is) do not have to be but if you are actually reporting the news and not commentating on the news you are supposed to be objective. That all said Bayless is a sports version of Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo.
@@88wildcat it’s a little sad that a degree holder is trying to make equivalencies between international news reporting and an American sports talk show. With that being said, I want my sports journalist to have opinions or else it’s boring.
