I'm happy for the Who Dat nation. Always had respect for Saints organization. Ya'll always had the hard hitting defense and explosive offense. Miss Drew but I hope Carr brings more spark for you all.
@LouisWinthorpe3 it's football man. Thankfully we were on the wining side during that so it didn't matter. Definitely gotta clean it up but it's more forgiving by doing it while we are upc
Chase young has actually been real good so far for us. That one rep you were talking about he was setting the edge making sure Dak didn't get outside the pocket. Young leads the team in pressures so far. I think he's also top 10 in the league as well. I can def understand where your coming from though. I was screaming the same shit when tbey forced the fumble. It should be illegal for big dudes to try and scoop a fumble lol
Bro, Chase Young's not getting the sexy sack numbers, but he's been very disruptive on the line this year. Also, Granderson apologized to Young after that fumble. Chase had it in his hands and Granderson knocked it out by accident.
@JustSomeDude2161 absolutely. I'll take pressures then sacks all day. Sure sacks stop the qb but pressures consistently and constantly mean wayyy more. That's basically saying I'll take 3 down stops then making thr qb hurry anf worry and throw risky balls 11 times. Ppl r dumb and don't get it. When u pressure it makes qb risk it all and they start playing hero ball
The Kamara girlfriend comment was funny but it was the Saints old OC Pete Carmichael, he was horrible. He would have Kamara run straight up the gut with an O-Line that had no push. The play calls were run into the line, run into the line, over and over. It was killer the last several years.
I'm a Pats fan from Boston, but I also root for the Saints in the NFC because I may as well pick somebody to follow in that conference and I always liked Sean Payton's offensive scheme. This off-season was strange. Listening to the analysts, these teams would pick between 1-4 in the 2025 draft. It's bizarre from my perspective because the Patriots just had a merit-based leadership change while maintaining the continuity of their management, players, and majority of the coaching staff. Since it's essentially just a New England private business, this means that internally-promoted leadership has an opportunity to optimize within the existing corporate structure using trusted talent grown within the organization. This basically always translates to a short-term performance bump no matter what industry does it in this region. They also had one of the best defenses in the league last year. The Saints likely have the one of the most talented rosters in the league and several key players are in contract years with a new unorthodox OC and a stout defense. Every position group has a NFL top 5 player in that unit, with the exception of QB. They also draft better than almost anyone, with the possible exception of Andy Reid. Their season really hinges on Derek Carr's ability to run the offense, which I don't think is a number 1 overall draft pick prospect.
Married to a Pats fan who became a Saints fan, after watching Saints games before/after Pats games, so your story becoming a Saints fan definiely sounds familiar :)
As a Chiefs hater and a Saints die hard i gotta say... I hope there gonna be some fireworks out in Arrowhead for week 5. Your Chiefs gotta go 4-0, and dem Saints gotta go 4-0. I want a someone's 0 has to go game between my Saints and the reigning champs.
I’m a Raders fan and when Derek Carr left the Raiders. I was very disappointed so I’ve been watching him now in New Orleans. When my new favorite players is Kamara and the reason why is when he scores he just acts like it’s his job shakes hands with other players doesn’t need to make a big deal of it. He acts like he’s done this 1 million times and I like that, that’s confidence.
New orleans born and raised this team is definitely the team we had on that superbowl run defense and offense are on the same page and having fun with it kamara wants to stay and retire a saint for a reason
As a Carr fan since he was at Fresno St, glad to see my boy redeem himself this season. I been seeing him throw those bombs since it was him and Davante Adams at FS
Lifelong Saints fan here. I’m happy we’re starting strong, but I want the hype to die down. Yeah, we look good, but it’s only two games. Man, if we keep it going…. Monday Night Football at Arrowhead in 3 weeks is going to be lit.
Right smh so many people jinx us but I don’t know this feels different smh I think it don’t matter now smh these next two games are going to validate something special I think!
Alvin been sandbagging since Drew left, waiting for the right time and money. As a Baghead Saints fan, THIS THE YEAR! The ESPN narrative will pull it in that direction. ⚜️
Grew up an hour minutes from New Orleans and have been a fan for over 40 years. We ain’t looked this good since we lost Drew however, as a lifelong fan I know to keep my hope close to the chest.
ALVIN does not look fast but the defenders aren't moving any faster, Shaheed was hanging out on the practice squad for a while till an injury happened and he got his shot.
There's a video of Deuce McAllister predicting the 70 yard shot to Shaheed. "Can I be greedy? Gimme something on that rookie." Dude pulled a Romo and it was glorious!
Philadelphia eagle quarterback Jalen hurts has never lost to the Saints in his short career so this week coming the Saints know this and they ready for this .
HEY DALLAS NATION!!! CHEER UP THE PHILADELPHIA TURTLE DOVES 🕊 😂 LOST AND SO DID SAN FRAN....it's ok to be 1-1. We needed this lost early to fix the problems early. DC4L
