Kansas City Chiefs Rookie Minicamp has wrapped up and there were several players who stood out. 4 Chiefs Draft Picks in particular, Xavier Worthy, Jared Wiley, Kingsley Suamataia and Jaden Hicks performed very well as all could have and impact as rookies. Worthy’s speed stood out both as a WR and as a punt returner. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was most impressed with his ability to soak in information. Wiley had a strong 3 days, but Reid is eager to see him as a blocker when the pads go on. Hicks got special attention from defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and could play a role in the Chiefs secondary in Year 1. Phillip Brooks was a very good special teams player at K-state and has played tons of football being a 24 year old rookie. So, don't be surprised when he makes the roster.

9mins50 "the rugby player kid", show more interest & respect to what LRZ achieved in getting signed by KC. He played for Wales at an international level, with 32 caps. He a Six Nations Championship winner and was British Lion. I've never seen an American Footballer switch codes to Rugby. I hope he suprises the NFL.

C’mon, rugby player kid? Give him a name at least. He was an extremely respected player in Britain and Europe. He was given a place on the podium at the presser so the Chiefs must think a bit highly of him. Can’t you give him the same regard?

He has much to prove, his personality needs a little dose of boldness, and the speed of the NFL is something he’s never seen. And… He’s never taken a real hit. I seriously doubt he understands his coming reality and I’m rooting for him!

@@benjaminkamai9145 He can give and take a hit (if they can catch him!). Watch his rugby highlights. His polite demeanor belies a very driven and determined young man. I don't underestimate that he has a huge task ahead of him, but don't underestimate his ability and grit either.

@benjaminkamai9145 Can LRZ take a hit? 😂😂 I'm assuming you've never seen a Fijian or a Samoan tackle in Rugby. It's brutal. They take no prisoners. No helmets, no padding, just bone on bone. Yes, in the NFL the players tend to use their helmets as weapons, but in Rugby they just use their unprotected head, or lead with an elbow if they can get away with it. His biggest challenge will be learning the playbook and the finer nuances of the the game. The odds are stacked against him succeeding in the NFL, but if he doesn't make it, it definitely won't be because he can't take a hit.

Idk, man. If I'm going to do a W&L segment and drop the L on players. I'd want something to point to in order to say hey this here was not satisfactory. Starting and stopping with the camp I'm talking about. Not their college. It is fair to say, this is a crowded room and you didn't do enough to stand out." "You have tough competition and you need to stand out." Still a good segment maybe a different name would better suit what you're trying to do with the video. You might say "in the hunt, a long way to go, or needs to step up or not likely groups." IDK. Sorry. It's just my opinion.
