You surprised Andy said that? You must’ve forgot when Eric berry was injured and he was “Day to day” and he didn’t play for like 6 weeks… Andy isn’t going to tell you truthfully…. Dude is smart

Thanks to the detective work by Florio we now know why the Chiefs signed Hunt. After much digging and analyzing Andy Reid’s comments he came to the determination it was because the Chiefs had a need for him at RB.

I feel like given Pacheco’s history Andy’s for sure trying to take the pressure off of him so he doesn’t rush back too soon. Dude would probably try to play this week if they let him 😂

I had the same injury and was in a boot for six weeks after surgery, then another six plus weeks of reconditioning the muscles that atrophied during layoff. I wouldn’t expect to see Pacheco until the playoffs… at the earliest.

By now you should know to give Reid the benefit of the doubt. If he's saying something, there's a good reason for it. You won't know what that reason is, but you don't get on the Mount Rushmore of NFL coaches by saying flippant things about serious issues. My guess is he knows the player and guy Pacheco is and is managing his first major injury with a loose grip so as to not add any pressure on him to return too quickly, because if it was up to Pacheco he would suit up this week.
