Sheesh. Now I get why Jeanne allowed herself to be corrupted to try and save this tortured soul. She had to try, it wouldn't make sense for her not to. I wish she was more forceful in her attempts but this wasn't their story and Chiemion was never going to stop. I liked your comparison of Iori and Chiemion. One is a man pretending to be a monster and the other is a monster pretending to be a man. Thanks for the vid! Looking forward to the next!
I think people (including myself) have been a little too hard on Jeanne's depiction in this game. She's not really meant to be a fleshed out character here. Instead she enhances the experience of those who are familiar with her. Thanks for watching!
Fate needs to allow us to freely play as our favorite characters in this game. There is nothing to do after the campaign endings I beat 6 times. They need to update the game and get rid of servant time limits because it sucks the fun away. The Jeane and Chiamon story, I enjoy, Jeane needs a speed buff along with some other servants like Kouga too. Boss servants need to be playable, but the tag gameplay can stay. Love the video bro.
Thanks, Glad ya enjoyed! It's kind of a shame that a free mode where servants don't have time limits isn't in the game. Would love a mode where you can just go wild with them. And not having all the servants in the game be playable is a tragedy, especially since they only block off three of them!
I kind of feel like the time limit is an intentional design choice which reinforces the cooperative element of Master and Servant battles so I personally wouldn't get rid of it, but I can sympathize and would even be cool with an alternative mode which allows for it. The real shame IMO is that the other Masters are unplayable in combat. I'm kind of a wierdo in that I find the Masters to be the more compelling half of the series (which makes all the Servant-oriented games rather frustrating). Most of the scenes where you play other Servants in the story often feature their Masters anyways so it's not like it wouldn't have been a wasted effort overall.
@@peaceribbon8322 it ruins the point of a servant being there, yes Lori is a good character, but why advertise a game where he is priority. And everyone else looks and plays fun and we can't do nothing with apart from the replay boss rush? Makes no sense
Chiemon somehow killed the Tsuchimikado master of Caster alone if you followed Assassin, despite the army of Rogue Servants he had. Chiemon was too angry to lose, and it tooks all of Iori and Saber efforts to put him down for good.
Honestly, I’ll probably always hate Chiemon. I understand how he is, and why he is like that, but for some reason, I just can’t bring myself to enjoy any aspect of him. What he did to Jeanne really pisses me off. She tried so desperately to make him not as angry and sad, but he kept turning her away. The unalterable Servant got altered because her master was THAT much of an asshole. Perhaps if he summoned Jeanne Alter from FGO, I wouldn’t be as upset about it, but it really grinds my gears. And to make it worse, he used her to become that weird monster demon thing with no hesitation or remorse. If Chiemon was in a normal world with normal rules, he’d end up being like Not Important from Hatred.
Have not played through the game yet only got through the first encounter with the rider but now that I know his voice, I can’t help but think instead of a 20-25 year-old man I’m listening to like a 15-year-old teenager accelerator from the certain magical index series and it just can’t ignore that. I’m a fan of the voice actor don’t get me wrong. I just think this was not the right role for him as he sounds so young which it’s fine but it does contrast heavily with his looks age wise.
Damn, i really love how they write chiemon character so well. I hope one day the added him to FGO so maybe he can at least find happiness with chaldea 😢
