I'm not living in European or North American country, so I may not know about some aspects of your society and attitudes towards minorities, but I guess all of us need another, maybe more correct, term for this kind of attitude. People say that “family isn’t necessarily the people you grew up with it’s the friends you made along the way” and I think they’re right. But the struggles that come with loving your parents are, even if they can’t understand your feelings you wish so hard that they could just try. Fr, there’s a lot of people who straight up don’t know what pan, ace, aro, omni, etc even is. I’ve even seen people who think that straight and gay are the only sexualities. Way more sexualities should be normalized imo, and known by more people.
