This same alert went off 4-5 times, the first 3-4 times it was two counties, the one I was in and a different one each time, and finally the last one got all PA counties. Sorry for the odd camera work, had to grab my phone in a panic to catch this last one. Comcast X1 Box.

Is this the screen for X1 boxes only? I noticed once I got the X1 box I began getting this screen instead of the typical black EAS screen

Oh this is a sweet video. Especially love you showed the front display. Awesome job. Hope to see more. Are you in a Motorola/Arris market or SA/Cisco market? I'm curious because in the past SA/Cisco markets have used a banner or ticker across the screen where as Arris/Motorola markets have used a full screen (such as the black with white text or dark blue with white text and red border commonly seen on RU-vid) for the alerting method, and I'm wondering if this is no longer the case.

We're a Motorola/Arris/Pace (technically is arris) market.

The alert ticker says it was issued at 8:48pm, very possible that was the time. I remember it being dark outside at the time.

I got a X1 The only alrts were a aduction alert for the state of florida and a tornado warning for broward

+SpokaneEAS Yeah, I'm not sure what kind of encoder Comcast is using now a days, but it does looks very strange. They seem to have a problem relaying messages too, I notice all alerts play like 4 times over at least before we get back to normal TV. I used to see either the black screen or the blue background with white text and the red border around it.

yeah, When I first see the EAS on Xfininty cabels, itlooks fake the way it looks.. But the alerts are real but the need to make the screenings more seriously like the black screenings or the Originals EAS ones when the used to do Red screenings back in ol 2k days. Just warn people ya know the screenings, that's all.
