Hi, in my TurboTax premium version, it asks if my wife and I are disabled or full-time student. If neither, turbotax software said I cannot claim the dependent care credit. I saw yours and there is no such questions (disabled or full-time student). I am wondering why.

This has to do with the fact that both spouses have to be employed to claim the credit. In the example shown both spouses are employed There is an exemption to the employment rule i.e. disability or student.
