Roger Hodgson co-founded Supertramp in 1969 and was the driving force behind what fans call the 14 golden years of the band. He wrote, sang, and arranged the enduring rock standards that made Supertramp a worldwide phenomenon with album sales in excess of 60 million. Roger not only gave us “Child of Vision,” but also other timeless classics such as "Give a Little Bit," "Breakfast in America,” “Dreamer," "The Logical Song," "Take the Long Way Home," "It's Raining Again," "Fool's Overture," "School," and many more.
Roger is currently on tour. Every concert is a powerful emotional journey and his passion for his music and his art shines through in the magic and intimacy that is felt by the audience, as with this October 2013 show in Montreal, QC, Canada. Supertramp "entered" my life in the late 70's early 80's and for some unexplainable reason they never left. Till today. Even though they still (thank god) exist today, if we want to be honnest we have to admit that 90% of supertramp DNA is.....Mr Hodgson. I mean, this is not just about music. This is mostly about magic. 😢Bless them all for still being around. 👍🇵🇹

I was at Supertramp's concert in the early 80's when Roger announced that he was departing the band. In respect to all of their music, the three songs that I would consider my favorites are..crime of the century, fools overture, and child of vision. Wishing I could go back in a time-machine as this was in my top best concerts I have ever been to.

I have not the faintest idea of what the younger generation will have as memories of the crap they listen to , but bearing in mind that I am now nearly 78, and sang all the golden oldies of past generations, but realised they were sexless songs, moon in June etc., lucky our generation, we have had it all, but this 2021 music is lacking in getting to your soul, I do not know how else to describe it.

It's amazing how Hodgson's voice has not change even a bit in 40 yrs. Most singers at this age sound very old and more like the sound of a coffin's door opening. He makes the songs sound identical to the actual record issued back then. Awesome.

ABSOLUTELY! I had honestly only listened to Breakfast In America and The Logical Song thanks to my dad, because those are the only 2 Supertramp songs he likes, but I only recently decided to listen to some more of their stuff on Spotify and oh BOY... I was taken aback by School, Give a Little Bit (didn't even know it was theirs, had only heard a cover and had no idea the original one was so precious), Hide in Your Shell....... But, Child. Of. Friggin'. Vision... Wow. WOW. Otherworldly.

I was 17 years old when this song came out. I was playing it one day in our living room and my mom, who was on another planet, musically, came out and said; "What an amazing harmony." She also played piano so that was a hook for her as well. Another band I have to tip my hat to for being so original, and further evidence of a time when everything did not come out of a plastic box.
