Totally agreed. I saw this movie when I was 6 or so and I thought the same thing...I think Kyle is one of the best final girl(?) in horror movies. Anybody who have been a boy once before would agree, I guess. I think Kyle is unique because of her "cool sister archetype" nature, cope well with Andy who is 8 years old and protagonist of the movie.
I love love love how at 3:10 he goes from looking completely lifeless and inanimate to organic in an instant with such subtlety all thanks to masterful puppeteering. They never could quite get it right after this movie.
@@kantstopkev5963 Terrifier 2 had a tiny budget. They made the most of it. That's all I ask out of any film production is that they make the most with what they have. Also I may have been too harsh. Bride and seed had some damn good puppeteering but unfortunately seed is...seed. and after seed the puppeteering just gets worse with each installment. They've even changed the way the animatronics work so that hands move the mouth and it shows and it looks bad. You shouldn't cut corners on things that make chucky chucky just because you still have brad's voice behind it so people stay watching.
I love the part at 2:30, it got a good laugh out of me the first time I saw it. Up until then Chucky has consistently tried to pass for a real doll towards other people than his victims. The way he says "Chucky" makes me think that he's finally sick and tired of pretending and can't even be bothered anymore.
@@craigprentice5634 maybe or was trying to restrain her like a cop does and he needed a little help cause she was the only one left alive and he can't drive alone.
*Chucky* TV series premiere 10/12/21 brought me back to the classics. And the fact they're bringing back the original Andy, and introducing Kyle back into the story has me on the edge of my seat !
I like the attention to detail. He was so frustrated and anxious to get to Andy that he didn't do the good guy stock voice. Just his regular voice like *rolls eyes* " yeah man I'm doll just let us go, I gotta body to snatch"
Chucky’s personality was so different in the first two movies. In the begging he only killed out of anger or to further his goals a sick sane murdering asshole in a dire situation. Now he’s an insane manipulative blood lust killer with ASPS who killed his mom at the age of 8 and enjoys being a doll. The first was more straight forward and interesting but the one now pushes the story forward more and way more entertaining
I mean considering Mancini is still writing for the character who's to say that was never supposed to be the case? You don't get the name Lakeshore Strangler by being a good boy scout helping old ladies cross the road.
uh no Chucky was a serial killer called the Lakeshore Strangler. He killed for revenge in the first movie (Eddie and tried to kill the detective) for example. He's not a good guy lol
Thought Kylie was so pretty back then. Saw her recently and didn't recognize her. Always wondered what happened to the character. Was wondering if she went to jail. I mean cops could have thought she killed her foster mother
I'm 34 now. I'll never forget the day as a child I wandered off in the grocery store to the movie section. I think I was 6 or 7 , and I seen the Childs play 2 cover. I think my soul left my body. I just remember screaming and crying lolololol. my mother was like what happened! I couldn't even explain the horror. this is the only thing I remembered about my childhood. hahah
I believe in 2000 when was obssessed with spder-man when i was like 4 tried to make m puckwhoc spider-man cartoon cd i shpuld get after getting spider-man ps1 gae there this huge chucky cutting jack in the box cardboard moving right next to rhe location sction andi was bwah from the bloodog shining o the disc of the light that poibt direction end up made me pick a spider-man in a funeral corpse of a vampure and i end uo pucking that ad my parent had that odd look but i end up explaining somethibg that got the convince because spider-man there he could take care and handle punch hin back to the grave, ironic end up momet wish i puck a different disc
Childs play 2 is definitely Don’s favorite I mean he loves it so much he basically wants the current chucky dolls to resemble the CP2 Doll as accurately as possible ❤
I'm kinda surprised Kyle didn't crash the car purposely. Yes it might mean she dies, but it is shown she does care about Andy so I feel she is the sort of girl to sacrifice herself to make sure Chucky doesn't possess him.
I always thought the first 3 films were the scariest, something about the cinematography and the slight haziness of the atmosphere really added to the creepiness also the designs of the dolls in the first 3 films were creepier for some reason.
Yeah! HE TOLD YA, SO! I swear, when I watch films, that involves a character not being taken seriously, because nobody believes what they saw; Then, when the others who didn't believe before finally see it for themselves.....I often expect them to apologize, later before the film ends. That's not always going to happen, I know, but it's only a natural request. Besides, Kyle risking her life, to help Andy is enough of an apology, and an appreciative gesture.
That bastard has the strength of a grown man, plus he's pretty fast, he's crafty when it comes to attacking, so tear him apart, burn him, the bastard comes back. He's not just a doll, he's possessed by a serial killer.
@@alphyy3107 Besides fact ppl today too hnder a rock and too stock up lacking. I found out chucky whole soul voodo possion was base on that sailer doll that the original owner caught her maid doing voodoo in the doll and kick her out only for the doll left start doing some sht if not nice to it.
Did Christine Elise’s contract demand she cannot scream in the movie? I don’t think she screamed once not when she discovered dead bodies or when Chucky was attacking her
These movies are really serious and tragic in implication, if you think about it. Every time this happens, somebody is gonna be blamed for all the bodies. Even if Chucky is "dead', somebody's taking the fall.
