When Darwin tried to open the door he heard screams and laughing the corruption must have got to everybody and Gumball went crazy he couldn't control himself and tried to tell everybody to run but was to late the darkness took his soul and broke it into pieces he went crazy laughing and murdered Tobas in front of everybody everyone started to panick but it was too late the darkness came out and Gumball Screamed' JOIN THE DARKNESS EVERYBODY ITS A GOOD PLACE TOO GO *laughs* WHERES DARWIN Darwin heard this and ran away. Gumball corrupted everybody including his own family (except for Darwin) Then Boyfreind comes and Gumball is standing there with a little bit of controll and says "get away from me. Im a monster"... While he is amagining his freinds still alive. Which we can see here 0:06 Thats my lore for now tell me more and I shall make more lore
@@toastedprocastinator my theory of the darkness is that the darkness is like a computer virus so while it goes into another characters body it corrupts the file to control them
The fact most of the characters are dead makes me question how dangerous can it be despite looking like a mass that only uses people to keep spreading as an organism Yall did an amazing job, kudos to all the team
I love how it goes from a soothing tune at the start and then suddenly becomes panicked and urgent when gumball sings. Then at 1:53 the instrumental dies down as gumball sings. It's literally saying "you've lost him there is no hope".

everything about this looks really really good, but that dead tobias sprite honestly looks like it could use a bit of a redraw imo. other than that, it all looks great

Part of me kinda loves how long it stays normal and just continues slipping and only gets revealed entirely when gumball turns around after finally loosing himself. As if the last part of him thats holding on is desperarely in denial about what happened, the delusion manifested by everything LOOKING ok but theyre still just doing one thing in a constant cycle They arent actually there....not really And once gumball looses himself that thin illusion disapears with him (I love over analyzing things- that probably wasnt intented I just think it makes it cooler to think about)
There might be a reason why Tobias is umm... Like that... It might be a reference to "The Joy" episode where tobias doesn't get infected because of his colorful body, this might be related to this, so since Tobias can't get infected, the corrupted just decided to oof him
I think he does get corrupted at the end of the Joy, he's seen along the others at the end when the last teacher is caught trying get inside the office. He wasn't infected before because he was already colorful and the infected likely mistook him as already affected until the end. Also Alan and Banana Joe seems have got the same fate here, just less graphic because obvious reasons
Maybe the glitch takes the characters that actually have good habilities, and can get good use of them, but characters like tobias which can only..change colors, are killed, since they are useless
And in the demo the game over animation bf gets killed by a corrupted character so I think video game characters HAVE to be killed instead of corrupted
I always imagined the other classmates as illusions, and Gumball at the beginning being happy trying to trick boyfriend into coming closer to him, getting him corrupted, and that didn’t work, Gumball tried to change his appearance to look like a scared survivor in order to corrupt boyfriend, when that also failed he just said fuck it.
Soy el unico que piensa que la voz de gumball es increible y ademas su expresion de miedo y preocupacion por saber lo que tiene y lo que le va a pasar después es sumamente increible sin mencionar a todo el elenco de los personajes para despues simplemente ser masacrados (hablo solamente por tobias) e infectados por el glitch.
Boyfriend is just to stupid. He had like 3 opportunities to try to save gumball and he had all the signs and gumball was even worried and even came back from corruption. He never took it and left Darwin to be corrupted
Can we take a moment to acknowledge how good the background animations are? and also acknowledge how crazy they did my boi tobias.. (That is NOT my boi, still look at how he got violated..)
See it like this, the darkness has two objectives, infecting people as an organism and killing people. The darkness itself doesn’t kill but uses somebody to do it for them In this case, I assume, that Gumball tore apart Tobias guts while being corrupted, probably with his claws
I like how the start looks like a dream, where everyone is fine and vibing, but after 1:52 the curtains are pulled and we are shown what is REALLY happening
The only question about that kind of confused me is that was the beginning of flashback or was it supposed to be something else cause that kind of confuses me?
