I keep coming back to this video. so restful! When I dance Childgrove I always wish I was dancing in such a beautiful setting. One of my favourite English dances.

Es ist zwar etwas schwieriger, aus diesen Bildern die Choreographie zu erkennen, aber um so deutlicher erkennt man, dass die Tänzer Spaß am Tanzen haben; dass sie es in vollen Zügen genießen. Superschönes Video, danke!

By the way, this lovely dance also appears in the film "Northanger Abbey" - one of the books by Jane Austen :-) Catherine meets and dances with Mr. Tilney at a ball in Bath.

These are the 1922 Cecil Sharp reconstruction steps, not the Playford....

if you can send me a contact in a private message, I can send you the references... I really like what you are doing, but Sharp was more concerned with making dances usable than preserving Playford....
