Y'all, I done called out Post Malone from the start, I never viewed him as "Hip-Hop" or "Rap" just a vulture picking up whatever is trending, Rap, let's hop on that, oh, Country is poppin? let's do that.
He has always like country he even said bob Dylan was one of his favorite artist. He also like rap the guy is just trying new things. Lil yachty also did the same when he made a rock album
thats not really what hes doing though. you could say thats how he got hot in the first place(making a rap song) but every one of his albums hes ever released has had rap songs, country songs, and pop songs. so he is not hopping on whatever's trending(beyond his first rise into the industry). Also why does him being "hip hop" matter if he himself doesn't portray himself that way? i can undertsand if hes trying hard to fit in and say he is but he doesn't, so whats the issue exactly?
I couldn’t quite find the words as to why I haven’t been feeling Kelly Stamps lately and now this video helped me to understand. It’s the classism for me. personally am I not middle class so that’s probably why I can’t relate to her videos anymore which initially wasn’t an issue for me. But there’s a focus on the negatives on the Black community that doesn’t sit right with me. If you care so much, what could you do to help with your influence? Are you volunteering to work to Black youth, donating to organizations that support Black youth, being in community with people that support these issues that you care so much about? If so, can you talk about it? Bring in a different perspective? I don’t care if someone is a Black conservative/ middle class but what I do care about is them stepping up especially if talk down on the Black community a lot. Like, you have the money, resources and time to help. If you care so much let’s get to itttttt 💪🏾
Can’t wait for the gentrification video as a Brooklyn native I deep hatred for gentrification it has destroyed the culture non-Manhattan borough cultures and communities, it’s trying to turn Brooklyn, Bronx and queens into mini-Manhattan’s when these boroughs are the polar opposites of that, Manhattan is a metropolitan tourist attraction area with only small groups of working class neighborhoods (Harlem, lower east side, Washington heights) while queens, Brooklyn, Bronx and even Stalin island have more homely vibes and environments away from the high price tourist attractions of Manhattan and trying to make it into that is ridiculous
Absolutely, Kevin! That’s my issue with gentrification as a whole. It changes the living environment for natives. Or worse, they get kick out due to high prices. I plan to be nuanced with my thoughts while being honest✌🏾💯
I wish our people would learn from this Post Malone situation and we'd actually stop co signing culture vultures and giving them validity but no we will never learn. I hate that Beyonce keeps working with people like him and Sabrina Claudio🤦🏾♂️. This is all so frustrating and this is why I support the celebratity block because these people ain't sh*t and we should be careful who we give our money and attention to.
19:38 I'm thinking that too, because even on those little celebrity block lists it was mostly women listed & some of them already been speaking up🙄ppl so fake
I think the white "rapper/R&B singer" to country needs to be studied. Why do they always go to one black-made genre to another without giving credit to the people who made these genres?
I use to watch Kelly Stamps cuz she had major comfort stream vibes and she made success seem easy. But after seeing this..i literally just unsubscribed.
I'm still trying to figure out how childish Gambino is anti-black? It looks like his blackness comes out in various ways because he's multi-talented. I know a lot of people who like the TV show. Atlanta and me a couple buddies. Love his albums and my wife watches that TV show Mr. And Mrs. Smith.
His anti blackness comes with how he portrays black women and other black men from working class backgrounds for black women he portrays the ones that are darker skinned as jealous of black men in relationships of white men on ATL and in harmful alebism stereotypes on swarm, in addition he has old stand comedy jokes talking down to black women and inner city/working class black men that he has refused to apologize for
@@Kevin-rg3yc So he's anti black for making fun of stereotypical blacks??? 😂🤣😂. I live in Georgia and I don't like ATL because that's where you'll most likely find the stereotypes. I work in Tennessee and all the stereotypes live in Memphis 😂😂😂. It's not anti-black, same stuff is just true.
@@Kevin-rg3yc is Atlanta not an obvious satirical comedy show? meaning hes most likely portraying characters a certain way to make fun of a stereotype? or am I tripping? Also did you really just ask a comedian to apologize for old jokes he did in a stand-up routine? sounds like you're one of those people that would laugh at a joke at another groups expense but take offense to one targeted at you and yours...
