*this video has a deeper meaning* this song is obviously about a girl that he is trying to get and in this performance he shows that the best way possible. The lights in the back on the wall are the aurora borealis which is the girl the lights are beautiful and mysterious but they are usually in cold climates which tell us this girl gorgeous but is cold and cruel. Gambino is dressed in a type of indian tribe clothing which can represent how wild she is making him since indan tribes aren't really that civilized or modern. but the clothing can also represent a ritual which can tell us this girl is more than a physical being but she is also spiritual and connecting with him spiritually. the vr can show how real this love is even though its fake you feel like you're there at the concert but you're not this shows that this girls love feels real but its not because she is cold. the vr can also mean freedom but still feeling trapped you can look around but you can't move just like Gambino feels like he can get out of this love but he really can't. *or maybe I'm just over analyzing this*
