@@MrMusicopath They do not need to be dead to be called as guitar gods, example Iommy is still alive and he is a proper guitar god. So are Becker and Blackmore.
He started up a side project called bodom after midnight which seems to play cob songs. But jaska (former cob drummer) put out a statement on Facebook stating they couldn't find a mutual agreement over the years and Alexi sold his shares for cob.
dude i saw them on 0ct 14th... fucking insane, jaska played with a fucking broken leg and still fucking rocked it! alexi's vocals are insane live when hes not drunk btw.
ok guys, C.O.B didnt sell out, you gotta realise that alexi was still really young when they first started out. his tastes have obviously progressed, you cant say that you've liked the EXACT same style of music all your life, and this is his music not yours, so he's got a right to play it how he wants. that being said i still do love the older stuff
Yeah Blooddrunk has the same elements of all their albums. It takes the best from all their albums and puts it in one. Best song though is One Day You Will Cry.
@HansMoleman112 im sure all ppl who are interested in metal know it, and others just don care because its not their style of music, so they wouldnt enjoy it even if they "knew it". all fine here =)
The new Bodom clearly isn't the Bodom that inspired me to get back into metal and pick up my guitar again. I wonder why they chose that path. Someone really needs to show them this stuff. Hm.. I call for a petition, haha.
Why do everyone has to say that a band 'sold out' when they change their style a lil bit. They don't change their style completly, but they obviously progress. And if you say that COB sold out because they got better, then you should die in fire.
I've never seen a band that would be cooler and more badass than Children of Bodom at their prime. And to me.... THIS WAS THEIR PRIME! Simply amazing energy and totally kickass songs... Bodom live at Seoul best live concert there is available on youtube.
@@M3talguitarist No way. I don't mind the Stockholm concert but it is pretty sloppy and lacks polish. Alexi's vocals and guitar playing is a lot better here. Although I do love the version of downfall done in Stockholm
Every time I start thinking to myself 'man you know this new stuff isn't all that bad' I go back to videos like this and the truth unmasks itself... they haven't produced a song anywhere close to the calibre of any song on first three albums(and inearthed material) since ftr, which is quite saddening. Luckily their live sets have improved and they started playing old stuff and a lot less of rrf(last time in TO they only played shovel knockout, not the greatest track but it pumps up the crowd!)
Old CoB? New CoB? -> IT'S STILL THE SAME COB!!! Their older songs are great, and their newer songs are great! CoB has always been great and always will be! To me, CoB deserves all the fame it has -> they still play these songs live and they're even returning to towards this style, what more do you want? I hate it when people divide their music to old and new bodom... stop whining whiners -.-
Theyve already been to greece. Im not sure how many times but i know from an interview he did he mentioned "throwing up in greece" after a show i believe. For now i dont know , google it maybe.
