Alexi's passing was tough because I think he would have much more to give this world as a musician. He was in middle of making two albums, Bodom After Midnight and also Jussi69 said The Local Band was going to make a new album soon but now these are never going to happen, except few tracks that were already finished.

Alexi will be dearly missed, it hits hard for many of us and I can relate, because he was an icon of a generation. I've grew up listening to his music and he was a HUGE inspiration on my music choices as a young kid. Now 30 onwards, COB is still played a lot! COBHC

Hail from Finland. Good points. To me,COB always sounded like they're raw punk, melodies and super complex metal perfectly mixed together. No posing,masks or anything. They literally look like a bunch of guys from a bar. Guys who happen to be one of the most talented musicians who've walked on Earth. Like ten years in Tavastia Club Helsinki,someone tapped my shoulder asked for a light. I had my white COB lighter and the guy said drunkenly "where the fuck did you get this? Super cool!". It was Roope Latvala. He lighted the cigarette,took few step back and fell on the table behind him.

Chester was hard... Alexi Hurt man.... huurrrrrrt. 2003, later years of highschool for me. Children of Bodom playing at Tuska open air festival DVD was on repeat. It was really hard to believe. RIP Alexi.

I would absolutely love to see you guys react to their cover of Danger Zone. I feel like their covers really capture Alexi's personality. He was really a goofy fun guy. He didnt take things too seriously. But he was also so technically brilliant that he could make any song into a badasss metal tune. RIP Alexi.

Been watching your videos now for a while But never commented so lets break that cycle. I kinda laughed at myself cos I thought its funny why I love watching people listening to stuff. But then IT hit me. You guys take me Back to My childhood.. The magic of finding new music. Now that we have Spotify and all this stuff its toi easy to hear music. IT kinda looses its meaning If that makes sense. So I just wanna thank you guys. This makes me relive that feeling. Cheers from Finland

This song got me into COB and screaming vocals in general. Too bad they only rarely played this live, I think Laiho said something like this song sounding weird live. Luckily 2019 in Nummirock they played this masterpiece and the Bodom-circle had been completed for me. After all, this song has all the Bodom elements present in one song. Nice reaction too!

Greetings from Finland (once again)! Well it was a bit of a shock. Alexi was pretty sick for long time (he even looked sick in last interviews) and had lost so much weight. It didn´t actually came as shock to me. Still biggest shock for me was when Dimebag Darrel got shot in the stage. I was working at the time as that news was told by host of the radiostation that i was listening at the moment. It came out of nowhere in the middle of the afternoon show (don´t remember name of the show) but even that show/chanel was not based on rock or heavy music any kind of way that host anounced that huge news right away so it literaly came out of bushes. There were no way that anyone could´ve propere to that. It was like boom! "I recived news that Dimebag Darrel was shot in the stage in the middle of the show and died!". It just felt so unreal the whole situation. It´s very hard to discribe the feeling and those emotions from sadness to madness and rage and the despair that came out of me. I was so mad that i wanted to ne on the crowd and grab that shooter by his throat, pic him in the air and strangle him to dead with my bear arms and then beat the head of the corpse to bloody mush with my fist. Damn that i was pissed!

Do remember that Alexi was Ill. He died far too soon, but it was known that he wasn't in his best shape. RIP WILD CHILD.

I will allways member Bodom show was like big Sisu or Scania engine. It starts and then it goes full thorttle 45min or one and half hour depends where it were play. Or American way Detroid Diesel. All shows was so professional and played sharp like engine running. Never seen they so drunk on stage that they can't do the show.
