My hair loves cantu. I know that everyone's hair is different. I use their shampoo and the leave in. I have used that grapeseed curl activator too, it smells great. I do hear a lot of people say that they don't like cantu. If it doesn't work for them, I totally understand.

I am glad to hear that the shampoo didn’t strip your hair. I used their “moisturizing “ shampoo and girl my hair felt like straw. It stripped every bit of moisture my hair thought it might have. I do like the leave in conditioner and the daily moisturizing oil. Thanks for putting your hair out there for us.🙋🏽♀️

Disclaimer: I'm (primarily) a heat straightened natural. I have fine strands, medium density, & my hair is easily weighed down by oil rich products. Thus, Cantu products are too heavy for my hair in its straightened & its curly state. (But the curl activating cream works very well on my husband's high density coily hair.) However....I'm genuinely confused about the issue with Cantu. To me, it falls in the same category as other affordable drug store brands marketed towards textured hair (like African Pride or Creme of Nature). The ingredients aren't premium or botanical by any means. But neither is eco styler or wetline gel. And many curlies love those products. So why can't Cantu get any love? What makes it worse than other similar brands? 🤔

I think Cantu recently reformulated their reformulated products. I know I've seen redesigned products when I've gone shopping recently and on tik tok. You're still brave for putting it in their hair

I’m from American but moved to turkey to marry my husband who is a turk. There is NOTHING in his village suitable for curly hair but! With that being said yesterday I was in a store and saw Cantu! I was about to jump out and yell “YES FINNLY PRODUCTS FOR MY HAIR” when I saw the price 😔🏷 child! 1$ is 17tl here now. This Cantu was 275tl 😭 do that math! I Make minimum wage along with my husband about 3000tl. That’s a lil more than 200$ a month and there was no way in hellll I was gonna pay 3 times my phone bill for a bottle of Cantu 😭

I have low density hi-po hair..I fell in love with the Cantu Flaxseed Shampoo/Conditioner..they discontinued it..I bought Sally's out for $1 per bottle..that conditioner lays my strands down like no other. I am a pure product junkie, have tried it all and was surprised by how well that flaxseed cond works. They have a few good products across the different new lines now..I like the scalp scrub from the guava ginger line too.

I bought nautral hair products for the first time and yes I will confirm that other countries don't have access to all these really nice natural hair products that American RU-vid use so all I had access to was Cantu and aunt Jackie's. Now aunt Jackie's seems alright from what I hear online, it's great for some and just ok for some but no one has said something truly awful about it so I'm happy I at least have that but I knew that everyone had something bad to say about Cantu but I bought their curl activator like yours but from the avocado line and I hope it's OK. I haven't had my wash day yet so I haven't tried them out but I hope it goes good. Thank you for this review.
