My dad was born in Chile and I feel such an attachment to the country even though I was born in Australia. I was there last November and I can't wait to go back. I love Chile, this made me teary
I left chile 35 years ago , and I see how much changed has the country had made , good for it , , I hope one day I will return to the mother land , miss it deeply..😌
We moved to Chile 11 years ago and are very happy here. Of course it's not perfect but yes, it really is beautiful and I would recommend it as a tourist destination for everyone. One thing is pretty sad though, and I always realise it when I watch a video like this: all the best fruit is exported. We pretty much get the leftovers, and especially down here in Patagonia where we live, it sells at exorbitant prices. The wine and fish (especially salmon and hake) are great though, and really not pricey. So come and see for yourselves!
Chile is a pretty big country, here in the Coquimbo Region there's no problem with the fruit at all, mostly in part because the fruit is from our Region or from Regions that are close to us. I think it depends on where the products are from. Here we don't see Centollas everywhere and they are not the best we could get, totally opposite from what you see in Magallanes where the Centolla is from.
Evzyl, what you are saying about the fruit is amiss conseption. We export the stetic for better prize and we eat the perfect suit and maturity, the price may be a bit expensive in your area.sorry.
@@frankiej5826 dude, in patagonia is very expensive to afford those products, i've been in there... i think that is one of the most beautiful places, but still one of the most isolated in chile
Wonderful music, gorgeous views and edition make my heart melt. Now I want to visit this beautiful country. Thank you for delivering this video. Love from China
I paid my first visit to Chile in April/May and fell in love with the place, only really saw Santiago (where I was staying) and visited Valparaiso and Vina del Mar but I was blown away, I'm going back in February next year for a longer visit, can't wait.
I am completely speechless with such a beautiful video. Chile is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I'm Venezuelan and now, this place is my home. Chile has opened its doors to many foreigners and I must say THANK YOU for giving us the opportunity to be part of...
Erika Escalona What's up Erika?!
Chile is simply otherworldly and takes your breath away coming from a tourist from Trinidad and Tobago who has a Venezuelan brother coincidentally. While I'm thrilled you have the opportunity to get a fresh start my heart bleeds appreciably for what is taking place in Venezuela today.
@AnotherOne what are you talking about? Chile speak Spanish. All the people in Latin America speak Spanish but Brazil. I think you should be very ignorant to make such a comment like this. I am very successful business woman and I pay taxes like everybody else, without mention that I give and offer my knowledge to Chileans and everybody else. So please, stop the hate towards emigrants. The world has no borders but people do!
Harry,it will be a huge task. The nation is full of undesairable migrants, most people services collapsed due to the unsustainable number of migrants. People keep wanting more for free, street are not free to all.new and discusting crime is happening in Chile. Feel sad for my country.
@@leliu5thelement448 In fact, I don't know who is this Frankie J and what the f*ck is he talking about because maybe immigrants are undesirable for him, but it's not the case of everyone who lives here. Indeed, people like him are the ones that make us feel ashamed because despite we're trying to evolve and grow as citizens, there are still poor people with little minds stuck back in the 1900s. Crime rates aren't even something to be compared with immigration rates, that's simply ridiculous. And finally, nobody wants anything for 'free', it's just that the cost of living here is TOO expensive, and neoliberalism has simply increased the gap among social classes. Fun fact: the rich ones get anything for free, mid-class work their ass off and they can't apply for any benefit, and the poor ones are starving because the benefits you can get from the State are under the minimum. That's the reality in Chile. It's not a progress if you can't afford anything, we're all indebted somehow.
@@felipediazmunoz8460 all I hear is buzzwords and SJW bullshit talking points from you. Wasn’t Chile the 2nd poorest country in LATAM or at least South America in the early part of the last century? Your economy skyrocketed after the liberation of your markets and now like an ingrate and a peon who doesn’t know what TRUE struggle is, you bitch and complain about a life style and standard of living that your grandfather could have NEVER envisioned? That speaks volumes about your morals and ethics, not to mention your lack of balls and your cultural Marxist indoctrination. Best of luck with your constitutional reform, you’re going to need it
As you travel further south, Chile becomes more and more beautiful. The further south you go, the greener and more lush the countryside becomes. Of course there's more rain, but that's what makes the grass so green. Very different from the dry country further north.
Volvere!!! y Bienvenidos a costa rica.
I ate walnuts from chile last year: much bigger and better quality then euroopean walnuts. such things are very valueble to countries like Japan, do some research how much fruits cost there ;-)
With all the lectures and pictures we see involving Chile, it truly seems like an amazing and beautiful place to visit. There are mountains, seas, glaciers, it seems as if Chile has a variety of sceneries. Not only that but there are also traditions, festivals, and parades full of color and traditions. They produce fresh fruit every season and it seems like whatever the people do, they try their best on it. The clear skies were my favorite because here in California we don't always see that.
In Spanish class, we each had to represent a Spanish speaking nation, I was chile. Today, we were confused on who was Paraguay, and someone said it was me. I said, "I am chile". My Spanish teacher then followed with telling me to put on a sweater. Worst pun 2016
I am proud to say I am Chilean. I love this beautiful country. It is practically an oasis compared to most the world. Viva Chile!!!!!!!! 🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱
A Chilean tale tells the story that when God created the world, He left some remaining píeces left from other regions, so He decided to put them in Chile. That's how we have the driest desert on Earth, beautiful forests, rivers and lakes, a vast ocean, the largest Andean Range and a piece of Antarctica. We'll, I live here for I'm Chilean. Sorry.
It used to be, but during this 2nd. period of pdt. Bachelet our growth rate fell dramatically, and probably other countries are achieving our level of developement.
It is true that Chile has prospered in South America, but more than a political issue (which obviously influenced a lot) is a matter of effort, of struggles against adversities of all kinds, from earthquakes, crises, dictatorships, to the wars that hit him for more than 300 years in which the Chilean inhabitant learned how to get up and continue fighting. What is shown in the video is beautiful, but there are many faces of chili that are not so good, for these you have to keep fighting, like a good Chilean!
The rugged landscape and vast desert almost look like they belong to another world. I love the nature and culture with a backdrop of a starry night sky. It seems to have it all from cities, villages, dessert, and ocean. From previous videos of Latin American countries I really low how much nature they incorporate into their cities. The food also looks incredible!
Lovely video but I could not believe that you did not show more of Patagonia it looks like you were doing the video north to south but I miss the Torres del Paine or Land of Fire
Really I wasn't expecting this , what a great country ! I'm amazed , I hope Chile become one of the most strongest countries and why not better than many many European countries , saludos desde Túnez chilenos
Chile is so beautiful. The food, culture, even agriculture. Sad to see that many people do not see this side of Chile on the media, it is one of the most developing countries in Latin America and has so much to offer.
Bello Chile.
I have never been to Chile or watched videos on Chile. I see how beautiful it is. I would like to visit of how beautiful it looks. Their seas and mountains look so beautiful. The flowers that grow in the desert are so beautiful. Their production of copper is interesting. It is interesting how their fields of fruit are so green. The fruit looks so fresh. People seem to enjoy the festivals. They have a beautiful clear sky.
Wow. .....A land of diverse extremity in term of climate, landscape and culture. Rear amazing landscape and geological formation. You can find desert, ocean, mountain , glacier, prairie and geyser all within a single boundary.
+Miguel Angel del Peso Araya Miguel I agree with you but this is exactly what a country that fights corruption does, it's open with the facts and that's the only way to do it if you want to fight corruption, of course you need to change the legislation as well if needed to combat the corruption. Look at the VW case in Germany, the same goes there, now I would be worrier if a country does not have any scandals like this, then it makes me wonder, are the hiding something ? cover up ?
good point! that's true, but I think that when a government is transparent and we are aware of the terrible things they do and believe, only make us realise how useless and disposable or voices are in front of the group with the power. Even when we know their practices, we can't do anything about it cause they literally own the freaking country. It's sad and frustrating :'(
