The way in which he articulates himself is just amazing. I love his unique and nuanced perspective on life and especially the analogies he gives for things. I admire his humbleness despite being one of the most successful in his field, as it goes to show his journey and deep understanding of not only his craft but life itself. I'm a bigger fan now.

So I recently met one of my uncles- a very well eduated man who has worked at top positions in corporate world- kinda success story like sansakri sharma ji ka beta, who had succesful career and is now enjoying his retirement. While discussing various other things, our conversation veered towards pollitics and i realised he is hardcore right winger, the kinds who can not stand other communities in India?? When i asked him about his views on Javed akhtar, he exepectedly, started calling him names. I reminded him of all the wonderful movies he has done, his contribution to literature and his very pertinent views on religion, but nothing worked. Whenever I hear Javed sahab talking, I amd reminded of people like my uncle and wonder what would they think of his words?? Cant they still see his logic and appreciate his wisdom?? Will they ever go beyond their hate and see how rooted he is everything that is called Indian?? Sadly no, i dont think they ever will..or even if they did, wont accept it.
