Those parking app things drive me nuts. Not too long ago nearly all parking round my neck of the woods was free. I refuse to fork out and normally park a little further out and enjoy the walk in. After my rant ,great video Cat.

Your comments about just learning to be really struck a chord. I took early retirement a couple of years ago and it has taken me (or is taking) me a long time to learn that its ok to do 'nowt' at times. Nice to see you up here again, Saunton is just 5 minutes up the Road from me as I live in Braunton, if fact 'cos of you I joined the Gym (where you've been today) a few weeks ago as getting fit and less lazy was one of the things on my list to do. If you're up this way again and want to take Pudding on the beach, try the Toll Road from Braunton down to Crow point, you'll love it and so will Pudding. Your parking sign - The yellow at the top means waiting restrictions - so basically no parking from midnight til 6am. Then the white sign tells you when parking charges apply. So you can park from 6 -8am without having to pay. Charges apply between 8am and midnight between the dates stated. No return for 1 hour means you can't park again there within an hour of leaving - that makes more sense when you see it on a roadside - it stops someone parking for an hour (say its 1 hour free parking), then moving the car 30ft up the street and parking again to make use of another hour of free parking. I agree with you, though - parking does my head in. I car camp with my rottweiler every now and again and can really struggle sometimes to find somewhere to park. Loving your channel. I'm raising three boys for another few years, but as soon as they're grown and flown, me and the pup are off! She gets a bit muddier than Pudding though 😂 X

Watching this video has re enforced that I need to go to the gym not just for rehab on my torn muscles, but I really need to keep myself strong for hikes, and if I end up in a van I can keep myself in shape and use the showers and when the weather is diabolical for weeks, I can stay near a town where I can use the gym daily, anyone reading, what is the most common gym in the UK and for cheap membership? any tips for what gym you use and what reasons etc ? will be most welcome, can you use pure-gym nationwide?

I have just come back from woolacombe and the place you parked apparently there is no overnight parking.... been told by locals that the council have a purge on the vans parked along there quite often and ticket all of them.....i dont get why if its empty all night......nice part of the world though..
