I don't see the flow switch on The main chilled water header. Did you put a check valve on the rise because often times there is a back flow during pump change or a power glitch and that backward flow trigger the flow switch, causing the chiller to trip and go offline
So the pumping scheme is a primary pump system, three pumps all together and one serve as a backup for both chiller pump. Is this a LOAD BASE SYSTEM? OR A FLOW BASED SYSTEM? WHAT TYPE OF CONTROL VALVES ARE YOU USING ON YOUR AHU'S? TWO-WAY OR THREE-WAY? THE 3 WAY VALVES ARE FLOW BASED, AND THE 2 WAY VALVES ARE LOAD BASED
There are alot of pertinent information that you guys are leaving out. Most technicians or bldg engineers will get confused, if they are not familiar with the function of a chiller plant design. How can I get a job with Higgins? Iam York and Trane Certified
I have two questions, what's the pumping scheme? Primary only or primary and secondary? Is the chilled water header design a direct return or reverse return? What's your delta T on this system 10°F 12°F or 14°F?
