I am so glad your using S1 for this. Been using it for 3 years, but learning more stuff. That 'audio event speedup' trick was fast and easy and new to me. DAH dah DAH!! DAH dah DAH!!

It depends. For me it was just prefect. I feel it's quality and versatility is great for its price. And the 49 key version was - so far - just perfect for the small space I had. Now I'm looking to upgrade to a weighted 88 key controller, but I'm still undecided which one to get. And it's not an urgent thing. My oxygen pro was perfect throughout the last year, so I have no pressure to change it.

hi Samuel, did you ever use the free Vital synth, that thing can make everything form deep sounding bases to screeching leads because of the many different oscilator types (wavetable,fm,granular,sample import,etc) i bought the extra wavetables and text to wave option (80$) cheers

Ah. Yes. Vital is amazing. This gem has its fixed place in my toolkit. However, synthesis is a whole universe of its own. Like... It's hard to understand fm synthesis, e.g., if you start from scratch. And I'm really not proficient with Vital. So, in my videos I usually adhere to stuff that's ready to use out if the box. I will consider to make a dedicated video on Vital and some basic use cases in media composition in the near future.

@@SamuFL love your videos Samuel, they are very educational, there's another synth/sampler that i kove besides vital, vps avenger 2, this one is not free however, i just saw a video where they made an orchestral sequence, i didnt know it could do that, its a bit like sonuscore the orchestra on steroïds 😁 anyway, cheers, keep them videos coming Samuel
