I'm a girl and I remember being out with my friends, innocently minding our own business, when we set upon and chased through the street. They caught up to us and beat my male friends senseless. I've never been more scared than the terror of trying desperately to get away and knowing they could attack at any second. This poor boy must have been terrified. He wasn't threatening them, he was trying to run away. They chased him brandishing a knife and purposefully stabbed him to death. How the HELL is that manslaughter? If you stab someone that isn't threatening your life and is trying to run away, you ARE TRYING TO KILL THEM. I'm so sorry to this poor family, I can't imagine the pain. I'm so sorry justice wasn't served 😔
It's unfortunately a matter of cause and effect as the victim had apparently robbed one of them at knifepoint weeks prior to this - but I agree murder is murder
FYI the attack wasn’t race related as the boy had mugged people by knife point weeks leading up to this ,,,, we mugged children by knife point younger and smaller than he was you ask he once less criminal to worry about
The sentence was it murder, so you can go around killing ppl the mug ppl ?they should have taking him to the police station and reported the mugging, even if they did beat him up to learn a lesson murder is over the top.
Birmingham screams diversity rubbish its a very racist and Segregated city areas are segregated by ignorance and choice you have white segregated areas and Asian segregated and people live parallel lives , Birmingham may be changing 30 years ago it was still predominant white and people have no progressed because not just the older are racist in Birmingham and west midlands even the younger ones are racist too but just deep embedded inside attitudes are not getting better its getting worse because people don't like what they see around them.
Perhaps we need to make the punishment fit the crime. Yes, you’re 15 so you might live for another 60years therefore your punishment is 60years, minus 12years for good behaviour. OR we put in billions to fix this blinking problem for good and save hundreds of lives and trillions of pounds.
