I have a story for y'all. For those who read it. I played this playlist in 2018. When it first came out towards 2019. I was getting abused. The first song discovery I played for 3 years multiple times a week for months. Yalix crystal realm was the one that resonated with me the most. When ever I was crying or worked up or abused or hungry or depressed or something bad. I would play this and cry. This playlist helped me through years or depression and anxiety. Mixhound. Thank you. And to those artists. Y'all saved me.

This track literally saved me many times from anxiety attacks. I used this track to calm myself before my heart surgery sept 9 and played it over and over again to feel free weightless and safe. I greatly appreciate everyone that put work into making this 2 hours life changing for the better for me. Thanks you so much and keep making these so I have many more hours of listening time!!

This has never happened before to me while listening to EDM instrumentals while driving… 😅 about 5 minutes into this I felt in my spirit that I was supposed to start praying for people in my life while I was listening to this so I did and I felt the spirit of Jesus fill my car and it led me to tears. This mix has been a musical lifeline for me for the last several years. It's a regular staple for me when I'm driving, working, or just doing whatever. Whatever anxiety I'm feeling is instantly reduced by some measure, and I'm able to relax - sometimes a lot, and sometimes maybe just enough to enjoy the moment and think about the things that require my attention. Can't thank you enough for posting this.

For a long time, I was under the influence of hard drugs. During the duration of my use, I found it hard to create memories (like an old smell, sound, or place that causes you to recall the past). I was finally able to quit, without assistance, just on my own accord. For years after, I still had no ability to create a memory and I had thought that was going to be forever.. This 2hour video compilation has been included in my first ability to create memories. Turns out that was not permanent, life will get better after all. Thank you to the creator, you saved my brain.

31:03 this song really hit hard for me. You can hear children laughing, having fun, enjoying their life. It really had a nostalgic feeling for me as back then, life was really enjoyable, even with the little flaws it carried along with it. As i grew up, I thought life was simply a cruel joke and nothing about it was fun. And now, bullshit in America like police violence and COVID deaths further enforced that, and me and others being adolescents didn’t make it easier. But jokes actually have meaning; all I did was forget how privileged I was to still be here. 2020 was a painful ride, that’s for sure. But we endured it, and not it’s almost over. Who knows? Maybe we can go back to having fun in our lives, be free to do what we want. I really hope so

I'm a recovering heroin addict who's just been clean for over 2 weeks now and questioning the very point of existence. Life is hard and being optimistic about anything is excruciatingly difficult for me right now. It's nearly 3am now and have been having another sleepless night. It's Jan of 2020 and I absolutely love this. I found this by accident and it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The first song, wow, and the awesomeness just keeps going. I've listened to ambient, dreamy EDM music for over a decade but never could put much of a description to what I liked. Even many friends in EDM scenes don't get it. It's chillstep! Wow now I can communicate what kind of music I like - it sounds silly af but I've always struggled to describe it yet I as soon as I hear practically 2 seconds of a piece I know it. So many special memories of this mix. 17 tabs between 3 of us and we had to ask a sober friend if the video was changing colour or the lavender was waving in the breeze after still not being able to tell when we paused the video. Also nearly breaking my ankle running to get my phone to photograph the time code because I wanted to know what a track was called, but couldn't see straight to read it at that moment. Most magical day of my life, wrapped up with this beautiful mix. Thanks for the special moments MixHound. Managed to track down the background image and get it printed on canvas. It's hanging in the living room and always makes me smile.

I don't think there's a youtube mix I come back to more than this one. I've been listening to it since just before covid started and it genuinely never gets old. also what got me into chillstep and some of my favorite artists so thank you for making it.

paramedic student. Listened to this at the end of every week of a very stressful placement, first time moving out of home by myself for 6 weeks. this helped a nuts amount. To be triggered so much emotionally is incredible, even the first 3 seconds reminds me of those times

Everytime i get depressed i come listen to this soundtrack bc it has so many many memories when I was 18 back in 2018 and i would vibe with the people i loved most and listen to this soundtrack to get me out of my depression just from amazing memories And anyone still come here during 2021

I think I found the name of my favorite genre of music. Always liked it, but never knew how I could name it, which meant that I would only listen to it casually and randomly and not because I searched for that specific type of music. I'm so happy!

Lembro-me de escutar essa linha do chillstep a anos atras, minha primeira sensação foi algo que eu não consigo explicar, desde e então sempre que a escuto tenho uma sensação de conecção com o universo, essa arte desse vídeo sempre me fez refletir, parecia que eu já estive lá, essa é a sensação que eu tenho (porem achava impossivel pois esse lugar era só uma arte). 2 anos se passaram e do nada apareceu um fotografo no meu instagram com essa mesma foto da arte, só que real, meus olhos não acreditavam no que eu estava vendo, o campo de lavanda em paris no sul da frança... Só sei que por causa desse chillstep vou ter que ir la!!!!!!!!!!!!!
