As a fellow Canadian watching this series, which I love, it would be so amazing to watch something for every Canadian province. i know you've got a lot going on but Canada builds is pretty good timing for this season💜💜

I'd love to see a Michigan build. There's lots of weird little things about Michigan that you could have fun incorporating into the build. You can hold your right palm towards somebody and show them where you are from if they are unfamiliar with the location. Plus, the lower peninsula looks like a mitten ✋😄

I’m from Michigan too! I was going to suggest some of the historical homes from Detroit and the metro Detroit area. There are some beautiful Victorian style homes around there. Don’t forget the old creepy stone basement

Colorado is one of my favorite places in the United States. It's so beautiful and there's so much diversity in the landscape. Estes Park, Colorado Springs, and Grand Lake are some of my favorite places to visit in Colorado. I've visited the state so many times in my life. The mountains are an incredible sight every time they come into view. I just love it there so much.

Colorado's tagline is "COLORFUL Colorado". Tanya. Tanya plz. Anyway, Colorado is MY state!!!!! :D You did a great job - looks very much like a house in one of the skiing places. Colorado is a vibrant state with vibrant people. It's very open and has some new initiatives that bode very well. Just... love it so much and I wanna go back to living there.

New Jersey would be super cool! We have the Jersey Shore, Pinelands, farmland, urban cities, nice suburbs, and much more. Also, 24/7 diners! I would say you could look in the Cape May area, because it's a super cool town with stunning Victorians. I may be biased, since I was born and raised in North Jersey

Also Colorado heights can go up at 14,440ft above sea level. I went there a few months ago and went to alpine Ridge trail which takes u up to 12,005ft above sea level. It was breathtaking. (pun intended from less oxygen in the air that high up)

Love this build! Beautiful work I live in CO and this is like the most aspirational version of homes out here. I dearly wish my home was as lovely and idillic as this. Most things are very depressing, gray brown, frozen, old broken, bad roads and worse drivers. Most city people are very lovely old out of touch or goofy young people. So it feels very Sims-ish We need this kind of beautification irl

I'd love to see you tackle michigan, not a city/Detroit build but an Upper Peninsula build - it's so pretty with trees and water EVERYWHERE 🌲🏞 - people up here love to be outside all year round (and we get ALL the seasons ❄️🌨☀️🍁 ...sometimes multiple in a single day lol) - I live in the U.P. and we often get forgotten or made to be part of Canada or WI lol 😂 - I love ur videos and ur a huge inspiration to me 💜

My boyfriend had a job out in Telluride Colorado so I got an internship over the summer so we spent a nice winter ski trip and all of summer there. Altitude is real in all senses, and pollen was EVERYWHERE. There was even a lot of trees that had white fluff as pollen, so it looked like snow even in the summer!

I visited Colorado in 2017 and it is probably my favorite trip I've ever taken (so far!) We went to Pagosa Springs, which is in the southwest of Colorado, so we flew to Denver, and then drove south through the mountains. It is incredibly beautiful in the fall! We went in October, and the yellow aspens mingling among the towering pines, stacked high on the mountain sides, overlooking lakes, was such an incredible sight to see! We visited hot springs, both the resort style and some we had to hike down a mountain to, that were just in a river, surrounded by rocks. It was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes hiking (even if you're rather a beginner at it, there are so many places you can go!)

I've lived in Colorado my whole life and this is great!! The neighborhood where I grew up in Colorado Springs is almost exclusively craftsman homes I have another lil fun fact! Most of downtown Denver was destroyed in a fire in 1863 and afterwards they rebuilt pretty much everything with brick! It's still a really noticable characteristic of downtown
@kipporah
@kipporah Год назад
You did the state I grew up in!!! and it's SPOT on girl! (Typically we use the dark green with the dark wood colors for the interior instead of blue because we are matching the evergreen trees) Loved the rock and stone details, very good!! That is more spot on then everything else because we typically do the half bottom stone and then upper half wood on the outside and all wood on the inside and most everyone has a wood fireplace! Also we are called Colorful Colorado because of the Aspens every year. (I would not visit there right now because it's Way over crowded when they legalized marijuana - sad for me to see but oh well) Also we were not an official state for a long time because we had to 'prove' ourselves not a gold rush town by putting in the train. Let's see you could do more wintery states still like North Dakota

I live in Denver and this would definitely be something you'd find in Aspen or some of the more upper class areas. A lot of the homes you find now are more new and modern though as you mentioned, great job! 💖

Not seeing many requests for Iowa (expected lol), but I’ve seen some lovely older homes! Most houses have some kind of basement, and a lot of the older ones have like screened front rooms to help maintain the temp inside, or these odd bits on the second floor for hot summer nights. Sioux City is the area I’m most familiar with, but like Nebraska and South Dakota, there are lots of smaller towns and other cities with similar patterns in home architecture. I think it’s extra interesting bc you can tell some houses were there before all the ones around them! Because they were built with different needs and purposes in mind (farming, temp. control pre-central, cellars, front rooms, etc.). I just think they’re neat

Ah my state!! I'm a plains dweller but the mountains are really my favorite place. I love it here :) Even though we did have -50 degree days last week. Our altitude makes it so that we have to change temp and time on recipes from other places because they won't cook right. The gov actually owns some land right across from my family's house. And I've been to both the Royal Gorge and the Four Corners. The royal gorge is really really gorgeous. If you've got vertigo I don't recommend it tho. There's a house you can see from I think the interstate that looks very similar to this! Just bigger haha, and my whole family's favorite counters in the game are the vampire ones so I think they were a good choice :) I've been in houses that looked like this before so I think you did an amazing job! My family has definitely never owned a house like this but I see them a lot from the road. Also! I love that you put the eco lifestyle fireplace in some of the rooms, one of my biggest gripes with building in this game is that there aren't really any wood or even pellet stoves, as thats one of the things you almost need to have when it gets freezing cold out here haha. Sorry for the long comment, as you can tell I really care about Colorado :)

I'd love to see you do Minnesota. It would suit the current season very well as it's one of the northernmost states in the country (not counting Alaska), and I've always been fascinated by it because of how much it's been influenced by its Scandinavian immigrants. It has the highest population of Norwegian ancestry in the country (which speaks to me as a Norwegian).

@Kalena_Shae
@Kalena_Shae Год назад
Some more Colorado facts. Marble, Colorado is one of the quarry locations of marble that was used in a lot of Washington DC monuments. You can see rejected pieces in the quarry today. Colorado averages 300 days of sunshine a year. Stephen King's The Shining was based on and partly written in Estes Parks, Colorado The Stanly Hotel which was the inspo for The Over Watch Hotel. Unlike other regions Colorado's snow will actually melt off and not stay for months. Ive run across people that think Colorado is covered in snow all year round. Not the case. The snow may stay on top of the higher mountain peaks year round. If we are not in a drought but snow on average will be around a couple days and then melt off.

I’d love to see Maryland, I live in Montgomery county which is northwest of DC. Where I am, it’s basically a giant suburb for DC, most people commute to DC or northern VA (like me), and yes, the traffic is just as terrible for it! My county has a surprising mix of city, suburb, and country. Maryland has all 4 seasons, we have all types of terrain (mountains, countryside, rivers, ocean, bay). Fun fact, all lakes in the state are manmade! You mentioned the AF academy in Colorado, we have the Naval Academy in Annapolis… Go Navy!

I've lived in Colorado for two years now. I wished this was a Denver 4-square, but this build has the elements of it. If you were to visit the state, especially the mountains, be sure to drink lots of water once you land and don't make big plans for your first day because you are likely to experience elevation sickness. Hoping to ski for the first time in February.

Colorado has the most 14ers (14,000ft Mountains) in the US. Also other than skiing in the Winter, Camping in the summer is a huge activity same with Hiking. You will see people wearing shorts and flip-flops/Sandals in the snow. Colorado has the Olympic training center. We also has a few Military bases within, I want to say, 100 miles give or take. Ft. Carson, Peterson AFB, Air Force Academy, and a few others I cant think of the names of. Colorado also has Cheyenne Mountain which if rumors are to be believed would become the new Capital of the US if DC ever went down.
