What is with the British and their obsession with holding the wingtips of planes while they taxi? I see this in WWII films. The Brits would send a man out holding the wingtip of any plane like a Hurricane, Spitfire etc. The Mosquito was too large and the wing too high for this but still what the heck are the Brits doing?
What a great little aircraft. Perfect for my 1930's adventure story set in Madagascar. Yes, I will give credit to the de Havilland technical school. But I will change the engine, for something with a touch more Oomph. May be V6 100 bhp Ford.
@michaelpilot1000 Nice thought, but then you'd need brakes and the weight would go up and up. Wing walkers are there as a safety precaution at an airshow. All the best
