I would never forget one of my biggest regrets. I once met Chimamanda at an airport in Enugu. Our flight to Lagos had been delayed and we were in the lobby. I literally could not believe my eyes seeing her. I froze. I was numb. I could not say a word and I keep regretting being star struck. Maybe it was good I didn't get to say anything to her. That awe still remains. Elegance is a lady!
hello chimamanda my is chimamanda i am not lying and i like how you insprie others and your also inspring me to be a musician one day it been adream come true to see you in real life and read your book and made it signed by you thank you
Listening to Chimamanda and her speech at the ceremony, I must say it's an inspiration to me. Here Chimamanda repeat her leaving medical school over and over to study literature and write in the US gives me so much comfort as a young literary artist. Keep setting the pace, your children and younger Nigerian and African siblings following the same path are coming behind diligently. I hope to see you one day when I'm successful as a writer.
I was watching this at work and didn't know when I started clapping, my colleagues were wondering what was going on. I'm so proud of this woman, she's such an inspiration.
I ❣️ always listen to her whenever I come across her articles nor speech 💬 😒 she's elegant eloquent lady well established in terms of literature, storytelling.
An honor well deserved! I am very proud of your accomplishments. Thanks for impacting our world with your writing ✍️. I love Adiche's authenticity, her love for her culture, humanity and her boldness to speaking truth to power. Adiche's use of language is incredibly wonderful! Her works speaks for itself!
You will be my mentor both in life and death. May God bless me with a baby girl and I won't hesitate to give her Chimamanda, not like every other name but with you, Odeluwa 1 na Abba in mind. I wish I can immortalize you great woman.
