Internationally renowned writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is the author of hugely influential novels, short stories, poems, and essays. Her innovative writing style subtly combines English with the Igbo language of Nigeria, where she was born. In this year of women's strikes and reflection on equal opportunities, she will address, in public conversation, questions about feminism and race, and the role literature can play in creating freer, fairer societies.

I will say to you that , do not forget that in general , black people carry in their ancestral DNA the ability to welcome a person into their home has a sign of a fellow human, including their own people but because they was thought by the colonial to treat others than their own with kindness and love , they have become use to applying such rules that they forgot about treating each other with the same respect. Never forget that when you lack of knowledge about who you are , anyone can come arround you and fill in that empty space in your brain that waiting to be fed with information. Thank you, sisters and brothers around the world.

Great that she has maintained her home accent and proud to do so. I had this expérience when I went to England from thé Caribbean to study. After 2yrs I returned home on holiday and noticed the différence in my way of speaking. I immediately reverted to my island accent and have never reverted back th the British accent. I think accents are beautiful and make the world a more interesting ' colorful' place. Be confident people, be proud of your original accent like Ms Adichie !

When a writer gets God, religion and Christianity much more than many pastors. Wolves in sheep clothing they are. Material wealth and prosperity don't define God's goodness at all! God's grace and blessings are defined in Christ alone! The blessing is in the spirit, the blessing is spiritual. Nothing more. But greedy preachers tell you you have to 'convert' the spiritual wealth to physical. Please don't mind them! God is good, God gives, but His blessing(s) are spiritual and spiritual alone. God bless CNA!

Start by showing them that Jesus was despised then because he did one thing. He interacted with women and children. A despised category then. He kept constantly showing this society that women are humans. They should be revered and are men done. He held women and men both in high regard as he saw them as human beings.

I think I understand her view on transgender women. I am advanced in age and not too clued up about gender alternatives but the undisputable fact is that transgenders started off as BOYS and were not subjected to the subtle innuendos that young girls are. We start earlier to socialise girls differently so if there is a voice for transforming let us not overload it with transgender women.
