Have you ever got it oiled.

It could just be out of beat. Make sure you have an even tick-tock. Level the clock until you hear this. The clock doesn’t have to be perfectly level, just enough so there’s even beat. Or if this is a clock with a beat adjust, give the pendulum a big swing to one side or the other and eventually it’ll put itself in beat.

Did you move the clock.

Probably want to oil it, and for the oil, you want to use a premium quality synthetic clock oil, don’t ever try to use wd40 because it’ll kinda mess up the movement

It doesn't tell me what the reason is why the pendulum would stop.

Make sure all sides of the clock are level
