Often times the biggest challenge when female chimps move to another troop is not necessarily with the adult males, but with the new adult females in the new troop who are extremely territorial amongst other females. Because Higashiyama Zoo only has 1 adult female, I think this serves as an advantage for Marimo to get accepted sooner. The twins will put up a fight but they are still too young and Marimo is clearly stronger and older.
I’m just so worried they will mistreat her out of jealousy. They (twins) could often be very unkind to the sweet chimp with hurt hand. That chimp (she has passed away) protected those twins, shared food with them and was so loving to them then they would beat on her, bully her and ou,d be hurtful in my view. I’ve rarely if ever seen them disciplined and I will say it again, those breast obsessed twins will see her as competition for the milk bar. Yotsuma has totally had to share what should have been her bonding time with mum because mom refused to discipline. However, I’m not their mum, they’re her kids and who am I to say!! 😂😂😂😂. It just griped my ass is all. Maybe it was perfectly fine and come to think of it, I’ll just stick to my own kid and quite being a Karen!!
