A lot of Glasserman's comments included CCP perspective on ethnicity and nationality as being interchangeable. Not sure why he says that. Sure nationalism can be translated into 民族. That means 民族 has the connotation of both ethnicity and nationality. A word having two meanings or connotations never mean the two meanings are conceptually equivalent in that language. This is a bit strange coming from an expert
