The UK National Cyber Force is defensive, it doesn't just go randomly attacking its rivals to bring their servers down or mass doxing innocent citizens and selling the info to criminals on the darknet.

It's very difficult for calm, ordinary citizens to understand that a) there is a new Cold War between the West & China b) semiconductors & AI are the "space race" this time and c) if China invades Taiwan there will be (nearly) zero semiconductors manufactured for military equipment from that point forward.

And "The Investigatory powers act 2016" ( breaks Article 8 of the ECHR and UN human rights laws ) puts ALL UK citizens at extreme risk of the same thing happening to them. A governments first job is to protect its citizens, not put them at risk. Remove the Tories and Labour, demand back your rights.

The first thing to do is to find out how the theft was carried out and how security can be improved. Obviously those at risk need to be warned and their Banks also need to be told about a potential risk factor.

Laughable will be accredited this drama - where is the evidence likewise for such a serious threat governments keep quiet to avoid embarrassment. Why did the contractor not have measures in place for such a scenario? Thirdly why would a third party contractor be allowed to handle such sensitive information? In conclusion is this a manufactured incident fact the integrity of the current government is questionable alas their anti china stances lately.
