Modiji is always, GREAT & OUTSTANDING. I support him for all his work for the country. But here, praises from China are just not like that, China fears India joining western block of NATO PLUS. This is the worst fear for China to come true.
It all depends upon the leader and his government ruling India. Self reliance is the key and no doubt in that India should make this as a nation's motto. No China, no USA, no EU, no one to rely on. All these years we are a dependent and developing nation for most of our national needs and we should try to minimize that dependence. India should become a superpower not for showing just strength but to show the world how to live with dignity and peace especially for the westerners as an example of a true world leader.

It is clear from the articles published in various newspapers and magazines of India and the glories of the intellectuals that we Indians are happy even if our enemies praise us a little, we do not realize that there is some big conspiracy behind it. Any praise by the USA (not a reliable partner) and China should be treated with suspicion.
We know both China and US don't want Bharat to achieve that superpower status . There will be some negatives for us if we side too much with anyone of the two . So according to me , Bharat should maintain its stance of non alliance , selective cooperation and preferred self interest . As far as Technology , Industry development (including Defense) , Economic benefits , Jobs are concerned ; US is the country to be with . And when it comes to countering false narratives against Bharat ; Western hypocrisy to undermine our culture , heritage , History , ancient knowledge and religion and countering colonial mindset . We should side with China .

I think the softness in speech of China shows how much India powerful today. Once a famous Chinise philosopher Sun Tzu said on his book "Art of War" that "If fighting is sure to result in victory, than you must fight, even though the ruler forbid it". They know how much powerful India is, and they may not won against a full scale war against India. That's why they are changing there policy regarding India. We need to strengthen our defence, our economy, our education and our nationalism. How much we will stronger China will never dare to show aggression to us.
The story is quite different at ground level, many districts of AP is being occupied by chinese forces, and some ppl will say just 'some small districts' but thats what china does! salami slicing ... China is still a major threat to India.

Now that sanatana-dharma or Vedic dharma, is being distorted, not being obeyed, not being carried out properly, it has come to be known as Hinduism. But that is a freak understanding. We have to study sanatana-dharma; then we’ll understand what Vedic religion is.
