I rode on China Airlines 747-400 from Hong Kong to Taipei in 2018 and the journey was very enjoyable with smooth ride and friendly service. Great aircraft and great airline.

Nope, this is a China Airlines flight. With abbreviation of CAL, China Airlines is the flag carrier of Taiwan, Republic of China. Air China, on the other hand, is one of the international airlines from People's Republic of China, or Mainland China for short. It's easy to mix up the two airlines. Even the video author made a mistake in his intro, calling this an Air China flight. He acknowledged this mistake in his reply to someone's comments. @@ianmartinez2370

what's wrong with you? This is China Airlines, NOT Air China, which is a Chinese Airline. China airlines is a Taiwanese airline and a FAR superior airline, service, and product.@@ianmartinez2370

Did I hear Air China “ at intro ? That is totally different airline than China Airlines in this video , a rather sensitive issue.

Another enjoyable watch! Do love the 747-400; lots of memories with that aircraft type. Also impressive meal on a flight of that length and it was nice to see the crew let you film around the plane too! Keep up the great vids :)

I see some passengers already wearing masks. I saw your upload date and you were very lucky to still be able to travel. I believe flights would be halted within a week as the global pandemic took over. I remember Asian flights were halted before Euro and American flights bc the pandemic was thought to originate in Wuhan, China
