11:49 when I had a more formal dining room I displayed my occupied Japan china that belonged to my husband’s aunt. Since we do family dinners at my daugher’s house now I gave her the set as she always loved them. I loved displaying the china along with my crystal. Now I have a very informal dining area so I just decorate with my teapots and candle holders.

You did a good job with the china cabinet. You can put that beautiful vase on top of the cabinet or in the center of the dining table.

The one thing I stopped breathing on was the one you’re keeping! The floating head will always be the best Halloween decoration ever found. 😃👍

Please, please set it up with a crystal ball again, and share it with us. I started collecting old Halloween decorations over 40 years ago, but stopped when prices went wild, and the value of some of my old German pieces is scarier than the pieces! I need to do what you're doing, and dig things out of boxes. If you lived next door, I'd be handing off lots of stuff to you, including scores of old 78s. It was interesting seeing you prepare the boxes for shipping. Thanks for sharing it all with us!

I love your choice of bakeware for the cabinet. I would rather have red glasses mixed in to match the edging of the bakeware and tablecloth and sprinkle in amber glass, but you have a good eye, and it would look nice either way. Other than Christmas I don’t decorate the inside of my home for holidays. For me it is much easier. I am at that point in life when I am slowly getting rid of some of my collections. Of course,I still manage to shop for new vintage pieces! My kids just groan.

Goodwill would charge you $10.99 for that plastic bucket now! They've lost their ever lovin' price minds! I tried really hard to go back in there recently, wanting to believe they've regained their sanity, but NOPE. I loved a single dinner plate. It was priced at $25. Then I loved a casserole dish. It was priced at $45. These were neither antique pieces, nor special collection pieces. Just pretty, in their own, everyday way. I left empty handed.
