It's West Philippine Sea for Filipinos by Philippine mandate but it is still South China Sea by international standards and maritime mapping. Unless Philippines is able to internationally rename the area to West Philippine sea were even official international maps are change. Foreigners/non Filipinos are still allowed to use South China Sea name. Also if Philippines is able to change South China Sea name, then countries can also change the Philippine Sea in the East of the Philippines to South Japan Sea or West Palau Sea.
