Technically speaking, IF we describe waterfall as water that falls, that it is indeed a waterfall. Or more like "man-made waterfall" I'd say. China engineering at its finest.
@@urgirlcallmebabeye , its truly fascinating tht they can do it by making "fake" waterfall, it takes alot of time and effort to disguise it, i think there is a bit misinformation in that tourist area, people might have informed tht its a fake watefall
That is the path up bruv. Can you imagine how powerful a pump is needed to send that much water up? Even if they managed to hide it, you would definitely be able to hear it. You believe anything this man spouts.
Well how did they hide a 2 story house sized pump to move the water up, all the power lines it needs to run it and the sound the pump would be making. Still fake but the water isnt pumped up. That is a sentiment divide seen all over the world
It's clear to see that these are two separate videos where 1st waterfall is not the same of the artificial one. Just look at the volume of water. You guys believe anything.
It's not unfeasible. Usually domestic booster pumps are split up for a building that height though because otherwise need a PRV for branch lines with over 175 psi
@vaibhavv2565 You mean the bear? The bear situation is still a bit murky. It looks fake, but that kind of bear looks very odd and that kind of adds up.
@@laplue can't I? Since the initial comment was bring one event that unrelated to the topic to the comment section.. and I just follow the trend. Or something about American does not count as tragedy what is it NOBLE act for peace?
I had the same idea, but when you think about it, YT is controlled by China and this guy still exist. The only reason I can think of is he is protected, by China's enemy.
Hi CCP agents! Must suck being embarrassed like this all the time right? Haha, oh well. Maybe daddy Xi will some day make the pain go away if you're good boys and girls.
You do realize where this news first came out right? CCP news literally reported this, then CNN reported it and pretend it was "secretly leaked". I swear some of you anti-ccp people can be so cringe sometimes.
@@Jake-dh9qk hey my comments get deleted all the time even the ones that support china in certain aspects, you're confusing youtube bots with ccp agents
It's illogical because this video is fake. The 1st clip shows a natural famous waterfall and the 2nd one shows a smallest in size and water density artificial waterfall from some amusement park.
I would understand, especially if it's for tourism and you want to keep the locals in business. But there are just so many lies that this has to get added to the pile.
Yeah I don't think there is any problem making a fake waterfall, it still looks good. But if you're gonna do that then don't lie about it and say it's real 😂
"Nice waterfall, but why is the side of the mountain leaking near that pipe-shaped rock formation?" "It's hot out, so the mountain is sweating. Perfectly natural!"
the chinese authories actually investigated this after the post went viral, and they told the park to warn visitors that it's artificial. The park defended themselves saying they want visutors to feel their trip is worth their time when the waterfall isn't flowing naturally.
We usually do it in many steps in mining industry. There is no point doing it in one straight shot. But for fakery, sure, you can do it with many centrifuge pump in serie. Less efficient, but no midstation required.
@@WaldoWheresReal Yep, that is how we do it since century. Small pool at different level. It require less powerful pumps and it's way more efficient, less dangerous in case of breakage as well. But, it's possible to do it, like here (but we don't see the whole site in the video.)
Yeah. To be fair, it is a real waterfall. You can see how the river carved the mountain over the millennia. But the government wants to keep its tourist attractiveness even in the dry seasons. From one side it makes economic sense, and from another it kind of kills the magic of a natural waterfall and reinforce stereotypes. If it wasn't for this "cultural war" and CCP mentality, China could be the most magical country in the world. I remember watching Chinese historical and martial arts movies as a kid and being fascinated by it. If China embraced more its own rich history and cultural diversity while doing away with censorship and repression, it could be such a touristic powerhouse and beloved by the world, just like Japan... It's sad to see all this potential go towards antagonizing the world while reinforcing authoritarianism, destroying the environment, warmongering and disrespecting basic human rights.
You know, i kinda believe them when they say they just want to keep it looking nice year round for tourists. Imagine going to Niagara falls and there is no falls.
Protect this man at all cost. This channel saved me from going on vacation in china, i was fooled by a lot of things, this channel showed me. My friend recommended it to me and said watch his videos before you go over. Im not about to be a victim over there.
You might have disappeared in China, like the many foreigners that go there like gullible idiots and say the wrong thing, do the wrong thing, stare at the wrong person... And are never heard from again.
Dont even go there dude. Nothing but fakeness and crap quality everything. My grandpa always tries to avoid things that say "made in china" , I now understand why.. now imagine living in a place where EVERYTHING is made in china 😮😅😊
I think they're being transparent. A tourist mentioned that the officials had some kinda sign and weren't trying to hide where it's from. I'm not Chinese if you think I'm trying to defend them.
Who is trying to censor this guy though, you do realize ALL the news about China he gets come directly from Chinese state run news media right? Who do you think was the first to report this fake waterfall in the first place?
If it was still going the water would be polluted as all hell the Chinese pet fish market shed light on the scale of it from the aquarium based species only
Yuntai is not the first waterfall in China to need a little extra help. The country’s monsoon climate makes it a challenge to keep the water flowing during dry seasons, which see less rainfall. The Huangguoshu Waterfall, located in China’s southwestern Guizhou province also suffered in the dry season. In 2004, a dam was built to make sure it would continue to flow. At the time, the province applauded the dam, saying it would “put an end to the history of Huangguoshu Waterfall drying up.” Some reading is nice :)
Well because hating on China is the "in" thing to do now. Which is what this RU-vidr brand entirely depend on Don't get me wrong, China has many thing to criticise for, but this is just a nothing burger getting blown way out of proposition due to Chinese hatred
It is technically not a fake waterfall, but it is dry like half of the year, so they need it to work for the tourist. This was very viral a while back.
@@Weoutherewildin Yes... There is water in the river when you look at Google Earth. IMO, it is just the drive to keep a tourist attraction open even during drought conditions. Sadly, the Chinese government is partially at fault for the environmental conditions that resulted in the drought in the first place. Global Warming is a real thing and each year we get closer to an environmental crash.
It was a natural waterfall during rainy season. But has dried in the summer. The problem is most of the tourist visit this waterfall at summer, and they disapointed. So, It's a win win for all. 😅
River is there, it just doesn't have enough water to form the waterfall whole year, so every year there was period when the waterfall disappeared and tourists were disappointed, so they're faking it when the river doesn't flow.
I know they fake everything. But with this one I was gonna say, naa, waterfalls really do come out of rocks like that all the time. That's how most rivers form. But then you showed me the half arsed attempt to hide the pipe 😂
You can almost see the reasoning behind this, they didn't want to risk people saying bad things about the waterfall if there was no water during their visit, so have made sure there is always water when people visit. Unfortunately it just plays into the 'fake' stereotype instead when they get caught.
@@cuthbertcoritico6754Some people, specially older ones in the rural side, are traditional and believes in too many omens. Let them be, bro. 😂 Tho I do personally think it's dumb.
This is normal in tons of places not just China lmfao. A lot of attractions are seasonal meaning they’re not year round 24/7 so sometimes you gotta engineer a bit of it so people can still enjoy it off season and get their moneys worth.
