Flying cars have been “just around the corner” since at least the 1950s. We have a pretty hard time driving safely on the ground, so I can’t imagine filling the air with flying cars is going ever be much more than a Popular Science article or RU-vid video.
@Dogsnark: You are right; but unfortunately Government people and those few that Own most of the Stocks and Shares of the Gasoline for Cars and Vehicles are the ones that haven't allowed flying Vehicles to be a thing of this Current Future. And then, there is human behavior that seems to be Going backwards in time; instead of forward thinking.
There will be mishaps after mishaps, deaths galore, you cannot just fly around with no procedures to guide you i.e. lane markings ! just know how many planes come to a horrible end and this after pilot training and plane safety rules applied. Insurance would be sky high as the mishaps cause death not only to those in these flying vehicles but to those poor souls on the ground.
All of them look really cool but can you image all of those flying cars in the sky with the way our air traffic controllers trying to manage all of that going on over our heads.. That's going to be one big mess...
It will most likely be ai controlled to a smart city. So it will avoid eachother on its own. I mean clearly its possible everything in movies eventually happens
kindergarten entertainment for the rich. there is nothing cooler than flying saucers yet and it is pointless to wait for them, they will never let you do it. greed and lust for power will always be on top. brace yourself.
When I was in the RAF, a fighter pilot climbed out of his aircraft and said, ''Shit! If man was meant to fly, he'd have feathers on his arse, not hair!'' '
Flying cars, from a nation that happily kills a majestic rhino to use the horn for their dicks? About 1,000 rhinos are killed a year. Now it is donkeys.
wait a minute. I thought the electric car was the savior of all of us driving fossil fuel vehicles. so are we supposed to wait and not buy an electric vehicle because it will soon be obsolete? here we go again. I remember beta, then the VCR, and now we have the DVR.. I remember vinyl records competition was the reel to reel, then the cassette, then the CD, and now we’re back to vinyl out selling CDs here in 2023.. then we had black-and-white television, then color television, then flat screen television, then we almost had 3D. Now we have HD hi resolution. Too bad there have not been many good movies made since the introduction of of these fabulous advances in video, ever since everyone knows who has taken over the entertainment business..
If they all operate on the same AI app, all you’d have to do is just type the address on your phone & they can fly themselves & avoid each other. Just using your “Flying car app” (like Uber) it’ll just fly you there while showing you where you are on the map, aware of it’s other traffic using the app. It’s actually a VERY easy concept if they go this “auto-pilot” route operating on the same system.
Since we are paying a small fortune for the vehicles we are driving today these fantasy fliers will undoubtedly cost so much that we will go past sticker shock right to a heart attack !
I am not surprised that China will produce a "Drone Vehicle" Although Dji is a private company it is still from China, Dji is the best commercial Drone Company in the world.
The sky wouldn't be congested like roads. People use the same roads to get to different places thats why we sit in traffic. If everyone was flying around we wouldn't be on top of each other
@@Elijah8890 well, not saying u r wrong however u also should know that there were almost too many "concept project" we had "long time ago" that never turned into a reality, too
The sky is already overcrowded with designated flight paths having more and more Air planes getting added. Assuming these personal flying machines will be given particular level like 3000 to 4000 feet above the ground to fly, the real challenge is to avoid any kind of mishap in the midair. Eventually, it will be AI controlled flying which will adjust height, speed and flight path based on other flying vehicles active in the vicinity.
Flying car may be technically feasable but the only way its gonna work is that the owner has to pay the state a very high annual fee, LIKE 5 CRORE RUPEES in INDIA.
