China heatwave: Government issues extreme weather alert

A heatwave has swept across northern China, bringing record breaking temperatures of more than 40 degrees Celsius.
China’s agricultural ministry says the heat, and a possible drought, will have an adverse effect on crop planting.
Al Jazeera’s Katrina Yu reports from Beijing, China.

Space-based solar panel technology will solve our energy problem which will eventually solve the climate change issue, but it will destroy the economies of the countries that rely heavily on fossil-fuel production

Exactly!! It’s a greedy egotistical idea and it’s been failing and will only get worse. China did build a green city. It’s gorgeous. The buildings with plants and trees on it, I tip, and beautiful parks in between. We can do it right when we put life before profits, or have both!

@Al Jazeera English. Correction: el nino and climate change variables accounted for, the difference is about 0.3c from loss of our sulfur pollution from the clean fuels for cruise ships and China cleaning up their pollution too. The pacific heat blob is CAUSED by China becoming a cleaner nation.
