China Lake Experience 2018 - 75th Anniversary Celebration 

Interesting watching this, as I live in Ridgecrest and have since 2007

My dad was stationed there from 1979 to 1982 and my brother and I attended at Richmond school for 1st grade and kindergarten. My dad, my brother and I recently returned (40 years later) to China Lake a few weeks ago to visit and see if our old house on Halsey Ave was still there. Unfortunately, it is all gone. When I got home, I went through our old photo album and compare, what a huge difference. Had many memories growing up there, I really miss living and being a Military brat haha. My dad's favorite pizza parlor, John's pizza on Ridgecrest blvd is still there and still the best pizza!!!

My dad, Bob Miller, was a technical writer there in the 70's, 80's, and 90's
