UPDATE Wencui MBA Hanlin Will all not be available for any international students by End of July 2021 and will be moved to WenHua which is 30 minutes away from the University by commute
@@Reverse_alphamale They won't be available after July. MBA and Halin can still continue existing contracts but not new ones. It is very unlikely and very limited for MBA and Hanlin. Wencui has been completely removed.
Aw I love how you don't have to share a room with someone else. I'm afraid that I may be having to take calls a lot after my classes, so I'd rather not disturb the other person I will have to share a room with.
Cover x Sub Arabic it’s a joint system, so XJTLU uses University of Liverpool’s curriculum, and when you graduate you’ll get double degree from both XJTLU and UoL
Hiii ! i just watched the video and u said u were going to study in the same university :) 8months later i just wanted to know if everything is okay and if u are still going there and what are you going to study (i'm sorry for all these questions but i really want to go there too i'm in 10th grade and i want to move to china) . I'm not sure that you're gonna answer but i wanted to try !
Im thinking of studying in xtjlu! Are students required to move out after staying for a year in the dorm? Or are they allowed to stay for the rest of their time in uni? :) love the videos
Is Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University good for study business. I am from iraq and want to study in China or taiwan i really don't know what better to study in . But i don't know what University shall i go
Cover x Sub Arabic yes very much so, it’s actually one of the most popular majors among international students. try comparing the pros&cons of both countries, hopefully it’ll help you decide which one fits you more :)
When you like first arrived in Suzhou did you have to pay for all the stuff or you paid it back at your country. Like in Indonesian currency??? And the instructions on the washing machines were in English or Mandarin
ANUSHKA DAS I paid everything in China, using RMB. Instructions are available in both languages. I think I need to point out that Parfait Apartment is currently unavailable for international students, but I don’t know for how long. You can visit the university’s website for complete accommodation list
@@michellelio Oh ok sure. I was just asking in usual I really do not need it now because actually I am willing to go there as I am still a high school student.I have had so many questions for that and no one really knows much here .So thank you for replying from time to time
i'm currently not working, and it's generally illegal to work here in china unless you're a citizen. however, you can do internship at the uni. you can also legally work at a few companies, but i myself am not exactly sure about that part since this is only my first year here :) as far as i know, xjtlu students are required to work min. 90 hrs to graduate, and you can do that inside or outside the uni, just make sure it's legal if you choose to work outside of uni!
Thanks for the good video, it's helpful to me. I'm from the US, I was accepted to the school to complete my bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, and I like it by what I see. I live in Beijing now, learning Chinese. Ill follow you on Instagram and we can message lots. I'm @harrisdjacob
@@michellelio Thanks for answering my question. I was accepted by XJTLU into the first year with a 3.8/4.0 GPA (unweighed, weighed), ACT score of 23 with a 6/12 on writing, and a very well-written persuasive personal statement.
@@michellelio As of now no, but the full tuition payment due and the last scholarship date have not come around yet. However this shouldn't be a problem as my family ideally wanted me to attend a school with 4.5 times the tuition cost. I believe my Personal Statement was the most crucial part of my application. It showed my background, highly described enthusiasm for attending XJTLU, Chinese language skills, and devotion to studying abroad. Other than that I do have a good academic record. Thank you Michelle for creating a few videos on XJTLU. I did attach a google sharing link of my Personal Statement if you were curious. drive.google.com/file/d/14va6Puvda31ZlRZcYm_4g7INu80Abr5s/view?usp=sharing
Hey there, cool video! It’s been really helpful! Thx😊 I got one question, Do you know the direction that the apartment facing ? I heard that 6-ppl one is facing the south, but the 4-ppl one is facing the north... wondering if that’s true or not
hi thanks for the videos as always! :) do you have any info for the scholar’s garden, it’s on the uni’s website but not on the brochure so i’m not sure.. is it available for international students?
Hi Michelle. Indonesianya dikota apa? Anak saya renc mau uni di sana tp border blm buka ya buat foreigner. Utk cleaning servis 2 mg 1x termsk bersihin toilet? Uda include atau hrs byr lagi utk cleaning servis nya? Oh ya dorm cowok cewek dipisah atau digabung? Apa ada jam malam jd umpama lwt jam brp akses ke dorm uda ga bs diakses? Terimakasih
haloo, di Jakarta ☺️ belumm tantee, masih belum ada kepastian sejauh ini. yap termasuk, no additional fee. dorm kebanyakan pisah tapi gaada larangan untuk mix gender. pengalaman aku selama tinggal disana gaada jam malam, paling kalo satpamnya galak ditanya2 aja abis darimana hahaha. other than that it’s relatively santai 👍
we’re most likely to have another semester online, so international students can’t get back yet. the campus is also updating us every month or so depending on the pandemic’s situation
Hello, I was wondering if the acceptance rate is high for this university or it would be easy to get in? Also, I want to know if is it strictly necessary to do the HSK exam to get in and uh, is this university good for a communication degree?
hi! it was relatively high when i applied, i think xjtlu is still easy to get in but it might be a bit harder to land a scholarship now because of the pandemic situation. you don’t need a HSK score to get in if you’re an international student as xjtlu is an english-based university :) some of my friends are in the communication major and it does seem like a good major! I’d recommend you to do more research on the xjtlu website and decide for yourself though 😉
Hi, thank you for your sharing! :D Can I ask what kind of scholarship did you apply for and how does it cover your tuition, like how many percent? Thanks!
Nguyệt Minh Nguyễn Lê i applied for the Entry Scholarship. The percentage ranges from 10 to 50% depending on your grades, personal statement, recommendation letter and possibly interview :)
Nguyệt Minh Nguyễn Lê i think there’s a gov scholarship available called Jasmine Scholarship. check out XJTLU’s website for further info :) and thank you!
yupp for sure! i use Atrill, you have to pay around 700 RMB/year for up to 5 devices (i share with my friends) it's generally pretty fast if you choose the right server. glad to be of help!😊
Hello!! Going there this end of August… you mean this type of dorm isn’t available for intl students anymore? So where will intl students live ? Thanks
i apologize, but i live in Suzhou and not Shenzhen, therefore i don't know much about the area. i'll try to help as much as i can though! what do you need to know?
@@michellelio okay I need to Know about their's engineering colleges and how teachers teach students in Chinese language or English How's they teach students in more practical or theory or average 😁?
@@vishalsahni7751 any specific university?? you can try googling their school's website, it's likely to contain all the details you need. i'd start from there too.
N3cro Z hi, just a head’s up; this dorm isn’t available for international students anymore. but to answer your question, there’s a kitchen in the common/living room
Michelle Lionard ahh i see, thanks for the info but i still have a question. Is it permanently unavailable for international students or just for temporarily?
N3cro Z the uni doesn’t know for sure either, but they said this might be the case until 2022. I’ve written an explanation in the description box, hope it helps :)
